Like WAY overpriced.60$ for half a bavette, and a salad that's been hit with an Exterminatus of parmesan. To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$.45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu and 2 other pasta dishes.The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. And frankly, I make a better ragu.Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.“

I've never seen a pizza menu with 77+ flavors. The crust was tasty , not light more in the middle. The sauce had a nice sweetness to it. The cheese was also good, not heavy. From first glance it looked like a new haven style Pizza while still being a neapolitan style Pizza. Overall I really enjoyed it. Price was fair and I would definitely order here again. “Best meal in a long time at a restaurant after a long day of work!My colleague and I had arancini as starters, a veggie pizza and cavatelli with braised beef cheek as main courses.We shared everything about tasting several things on the menu for a first experience in this restaurant! Everything was EXCELLENT! The arancini are crunchy, tender and tasty... Don't be fooled by the little burnt spots on the pizza, it gave flavor and the dough literally melts in your mouth... The cavatelli are creamy as can be...Georges our server was sooo friendly! Always a smile on your face! A real pleasure to be served this way! The lady near the cash register and the cook also chatted with us with a smile! Very pleasant....The only minor downside (and I understand that the dining room is new) is the decor... It lacks love but Georges assured us that it would improve soon... I will go see this without fail!“

Their signature knuckles calzones were phenomenal. Then we got the kale salad which was the freshest thing I've ever had. We finished it off with carbonara (with pasta made fresh from directly across the street) and Wagyu beef stuffed onions. Just all around incredible and I'll never stop raving about this restaurant. The seafood pasta was Al Dente to perfection. Not because it was very good, but because it was flawless. Nothing soft, nothing crunchy. Al Dente. Star 3. The Ossobuco. Never mind the rich Risotto that surrounds it. Never mind that the meat from the veal shank falls off the bone and into your heart. It’s all about the bone marrow. It makes the dish. It’s flavour permeates the sauce that covers the bone as it arrives nestled on your plate. It is the essence of Ossobuco, and Amerigo delivers it in spades. Star 4. Cannoli. Crispy, fresh, heavy, heavenly. Star 5. The service. 5/5. 10/10. 100%. We had seats at the bar and we waited for nothing. We wanted for nothing. A team of family and friends. “We ate there for the first time a week ago. Ordered a pitcher of sangria, bruschetta and calamari as appetizers and all were served very quickly and were delicious. Then main courses of veal, sole and gnocchi which were equally good. There was absolutely no room for dessert and we all took doggy bags home because the portions were so generous! “Elie found this café and suggested that we go and discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat and they serve it to you. There’s nothing weird about it. It’s just confusing when you get in because they don’t necessarily explain it to you. we’ve seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect and two for the server to bring the food to the right table.We ordered a couple of sandwiches and a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese and tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic and not enough basil. For people who have travelled around and have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we’re being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly.The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn’t really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside and the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish.It was OK to visit. The decor inside is nice. a nice place to visit if you’re looking for a quick breakfast in a downtown area of Montreal.“
