Fantastic community gem. Mouton Noir catered a 4 year-old birthday party on Sunday and it couldn't have been nicer. The kids played on the green and parents ordered coffee and drinks from the counter. Then we had a wonderful catered spread for lunch for kids and adults - everything was delicious and everybody ate a ton! Phil was so lovely and easy with the planning and couldn't have been nicer. Great little cafe in the park. They use coffee ice cubes so that when the ice melts, it doesn't dilute the drink. Love that. Great seating outside as well. Every week I come to play a game of battleship - the game belongs to the cafe so you can play it too ;)Vegetarian options: They offer many vegetarian options (bagels, falafel sandwich, nachos etc.)

Neighbourhood cafe with surprisingly solid food. Good coffee, great soups. A bit noisy but its a rec centre. Mornings during the week are quiet. They have a cute little trading library so if you have books you are finished with, bring them here and you can take one away.
