“Passed by and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a chocolatine, an apple square and an almond croissant. I received a croissant instead of a chocolatine, but no big deal. The almond croissant was amongst the better ones I've had here in Montréal. A good natural almond flavor with a wonderfully chewy texture and flaky crust. The apple square was also delicious. The apple filling was natural and not too sweet, and the dough had a great chewy texture with a slight hint of caramel. The croissant was decent, more chewy than flaky, and not as buttery as some.“
“When I used to attend college, this grocery store was my go-to in grabbing delicious and big portion meals in a hurry. Let's fast forward over a decade and I still go there. This IGA is packed no matter what time of day it is. Although there's always many people, the store itself is always clean and stocked. The lady before me complained she did not have enough fries in her box. Despite that, the young woman was smiling when t was my turn. I went right after the lunch rush. Upon waiting the line up was not long and there was a lot to choose from. My regular is the chicken thigh with fries, salad and gravy. I have no clue how these stores make rotisserie chicken but it is always so moist. The gravy was hot, and the macaroni salad was not drenched in mayonnaise. I am taking away one star because the wedges were a bit dry. There is a sitting area for people who have bought food which is awesome. Remember to keep your receipt since security will ask. There is a sink and a microwave.“
“A must-see in Montreal! You have to try kouign at least once! I think now the almond croissant looks a little different than the one in my photos. There is no vegan option, but I would love to see and taste a vegan kouign! Maybe one day ??According to my boyfriend, their croissant is the best in the world (or in Montreal)“

Cozy, welcoming and amazing bakery and restaurant- had a delicious turkey sandwich with an orzo salad where everything; from the baguette to the salad was made on site and was top quality! Finished off the meal with a sweet homemade brownie and before heading home bought 2 fougasse - one with olives, the other a sun dried tomato with garlic and goat cheese! She served me with a smile, served me warm manoushe, cheese & beuregs.We had 12 guests and everyone enjoyed their meals, some guests even asked to know where the food was from and I was happy to tell them that it was from Haddad (Montreal).Thank you very much, I will be coming regularly from now on.“

“Excellent for buying anything you need quickly to fill your pantry, they have a wide variety of things and if you get hungry on the way somewhere you can stop by to buy some sushi or some of the salads they have inside and eat it in their dining rooms. It seems like an excellent option to me. They also have these beers that are very good and with a good level of alcohol ?“
