“Not helpful. Went in person three days prior to place an order for Mother’s Day. I was told that I could not order in advance, and that they stopped taking advance orders. Meanwhile the site states that I can. The person in charge told me that the site was removed. Meanwhile, the site is still there and customers were picking up their orders on Sunday morning.“

“For the staff that worked Wed. 06/10 around 3:30pm. I didn’t catch her name but the middle aged woman: you are an angel. You saw me outside with my stroller and I had that look of hunger and help and you knew. It meant a lot that I was approached by you from across the patio and offered food and a cold drink. I was so busy that day I didn’t have a chance to eat much and not only did that sandwich taste delicious, it helped me get through the day. I just want to say thank you genuinely and your coworkers. Your effort and kindness really made my day.“

We also enjoyed sample portion of a yummy pumpkin caramel dessert with a coffee. Service efficient and helpful. Seating indoors at back of store or round tables outdoors. Definitely worth return visits.“

“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. So the day was pretty perfect.🖤“

As you can see the picture , it’s missing part of the bread cause I couldn’t stop eating, it deserved a pause in between and a review ! Got the canadien bread and the quotidien also. “This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.“

“We weren't so happy with the free breakfast provided at the hotel where we stayed, so on our second day in Montreal we went to Plougastel instead. We kept going back every morning until the day we left! We tried brioche and a number of different croissants. Everything we ate was wonderfully fresh and tasty. The almond croissant was just delicious, with the perfect level of sweetness. They tend to be too sweet in other places, at least in the US, for my taste. The brioche was so good that I had to have two each time. The service was very friendly. Although the bakery opens at 7.30am, the owner told us that we could come in before then and the door would be open. True to his word, when we arrived at 07:00 the next morning, the door was open. This was very useful when we had an early morning trip to Quebec City. We tried both lattes and espressos, and they were both really good. At least three times, we happened to walk in just as something hot was coming out of the oven. Nothing like a still warm brioche. On our last breakfast in Montreal, we also bought a baguette 'for the road'. Along with some cheese, it made for a simple yet tasty lunch at YUL airport before our flight. Prices are very reasonable. Great place! Highly recommended!“

“I have to say this is one of the kindest and tasty bakery in Montreal, i got 3 lahmajoun and the dough was so great exactly like in middle east, the texture was amazing it reminds me of old memories.
The lady that serve and women when they know that i didn’t have any cash to pay they gave it to me for free and say whenever you pass you can pay, and then she said you don’t need to pay this from us because it’s your first time here.

And the rosemary and sea salt focaccia which should be available all the time 😱😍. It’s not super convenient for me to go there, but I make the trip at least once or twice a month because the quality is superb. Kudos!“

“I have been coming here for years and the quality is consistently excellent. The crust on the sourdough is perfectly crisp every time and the interior is always soft and airy. It is rare to find a place that puts this much care into their baking process. I usually grab a few croissants for the office and they disappear within minutes because everyone loves them so much. There is a lot to choose from, but it’s a popular place so get there early if you have a particular favorite in mind.“

“There is a huge selection of freshly roasted coffee from various roasters in the region. From what I understand, they rent the facility to do their roasting, and then sell their beans here, as well as at their cafes. Naturally, the place smells amazing! I had an espresso and an Americano to go. Both were excellent. The biscuits/scones are the best I’ve had in a long time…especially the plain ones with fresh cream and jam. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all their products. The location is close to a path along the canal…a perfect stop during a bike ride or walk. Looking forward to my next visit!“
