Boulangerie Le Toledo Reviews
This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek.

Boulangerie Le Toledo, a renowned bakery located in the heart of Montreal, offers an authentic and memorable dining experience. The bakery is known for its intoxicating aroma of freshly baked bread, promising a divine tasting experience. The bread selection is exceptional, with each loaf being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pastries are a treat for the eyes and taste buds, with golden croissants, flaky and light pain au chocolat, and delicious brioches. The desserts are beautifully presented, with carefully balanced flavors.
Customers praise the friendly and welcoming service, even during busy times, and appreciate the cozy atmosphere. The space is often lively, with many people enjoying the fresh baked goods and coffee, both inside and outside during the summer. The bakery's online ordering system is convenient, with pastries described as phenomenal, especially the almond croissant. The cappuccino and cortado are also well-liked, though some find their latte to be ordinary.
Notable treats include the chausson aux pommes, which is flaky, generous, and bursting with apple flavor, and the bread that kills, a popular item customers look forward to trying. The croissants remain a highlight, buttery and crisp, and the sourdough is chewy perfection. The sandwiches, such as the bagnat poulet and ciabatta with tuna, are also highly recommended. Boulangerie Le Toledo isn't just a bakery—it's a destination where visitors can linger at communal tables, enjoy free Wi-Fi, and watch the bakers at work. Overall, it's highly recommended for its authentic bread and pastries, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service.
