“Lovely, inviting place. The best grilled smoked meat and cheese sandwich on the planet! We went everyday on our visit to Montreal and I recommend this place to locals and visitors alike. Ask Romain for a lavender London Fog and you will not be disappointed!“

“Stopped by here on a weeknight after work and grabbed a seat by the window, which turned out to be perfect for people watching on the street below. The oat milk latte was smooth and not too sweet, and the almond croissant they recommended was still warm from the oven. Staff were friendly and didn't rush me even though I stayed almost two hours working on my laptop. Great spot to unwind mid week before heading back out to explore more of the city.“

“Le Café Magda est bien plus qu’un simple café. C’est un véritable point de rencontre pour tout le quartier, un endroit où l’on se sent chez soi dès qu’on franchit la porte. Nous sommes vraiment chanceux de l’avoir dans le Bronx, car il contribue pleinement à la vie du quartier et crée un esprit de communauté précieux. Andrée-Anne, la propriétaire, est toujours d’un accueil chaleureux et attentionné, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable. P.S. Si vous ne savez pas quoi prendre, je vous recommande le dirty chaï — il est absolument divin“

“J’ai vraiment adoré mon expérience à la Cafeteria Olimpico. J’ai commandé un cappuccino et un pain au chocolat, et c’était tout simplement délicieux. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, le personnel super accueillant, et le style un peu antique du lieu ajoute un charme unique. C’est la première fois que je ressens un tel coup de cœur pour un café. Je recommande vivement 🥰“

“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. So the day was pretty perfect.🖤“

“Wonderful drink -hot pumpkin latte and yummy sandwich. Chicken avacado and bacon.
However, I did encounter a pick pocket. My husband stopped him as the man reached into my purse that was next to me.
A man in big white coat, blue hat and A bigger woman in a black coat . She blocked the purse and the man sat next to it. Can happen anywhere but just alerting you to it. Management was great at responding and will keep an eye out. Nothing was taken. Whew.“

“Some of the most beautiful people in the city are punters at this establishment. The coffee (always served with "panache" btw) is deliciously "on point"! The staff is cool & real. “One of the friendliest family owned places you will ever go to. You can tell that it is a family run place and everyone really cares about giving you the best experience. The owner/manager is so nice and she checks on you to make sure everything is up to your standards.
The food was delightful and I am not a coffee drinker but my wife who is one was so happy with what she had that she ordered another one to go :)

“was buying starbucks' true north blonde roast for awhile. my place of work brews the veranda blend where i got introduced to light roast coffee. had no idea blonde roast even existed to be honest. noticed 49th parallel had a light roast variety of their own. bought a bag of epic espresso just to sample it but i keep coming back for more. excellent coffee and my new favorite ! ☕“

Niché au bout de la rue Chabot dans le Plateau Est, ce petit café de quartier est un véritable bijou culinaire. Dès qu’on entre, on est accueilli avec chaleur et bienveillance par une équipe souriante, attentionnée et passionnée. Le service est tout simplement exemplaire — on se sent chez soi. Le menu est court, mais chaque plat est maîtrisé avec soin. La tarte aux tomates du Québec est une merveille : pâte feuilletée parfaite, tomates savoureuses, cheddar vieilli, le tout relevé d’herbes de Provence... un pur plaisir. La quiche aux épinards est douce et ensoleillée, et les viennoiseries? Un festival de textures et de parfums : croissants, chocolatines, financiers... tout est fait maison, frais du jour. Que vous veniez pour un brunch entre amis, un latté réconfortant ou un panier de douceurs à emporter, vous serez charmé à coup sûr. L’ambiance est lumineuse, familiale, inclusive et apaisante. L’endroit est aussi accessible à tous, avec des toilettes non genrées et des aménagements pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Mention spéciale au personnel : leur bonne humeur est contagieuse et leur souci du détail fait toute la différence. On sent l’amour derrière chaque geste. “I love the atmosphere here, it is super charming and the staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. My latte was perfectly made, and you can tell they actually care about the quality of their drinks.
It can get a little busy and the service takes a bit longer during the morning rush, but the vibes make up for it. It is easily one of the nicest spots in the area to grab a drink and unwind.“

“Stumbled on this little gem at closing time. The owner was amazing and made us a matcha. He’s so friendly and kind. We talked rocks, gardens and teas. He made the plant based milk right there and it added to the most delicious matcha experience I’ve had. Highly recommend!“

“Check your bill before you pay as I was charged more. I was charged 12.08 for 9.64 (2.50+5.99) after tax and before tip. I was returned only half that amount when I asked maybe bc they were too flustered…

The olive oil is of a good quality.
I find the place to be overpriced and do not like the fact they do not have price tags.
Also on the receipt you cannot see how much you paid for each article. Only a total price.
This gives them the liberty to set a price on the spot.
I would recommend for food quality if you want to splurge.“

“I recently discovered this place and now I go here everyday! The food is so good and the atmosphere is very cozy and friendly. My favourite item on the menu is queijadinha. I can eat 5 of them easily at one sitting, dangerously good. Good coffee too. Highly recommended!“
