“Everything about this place is incredible. Coffee, treats, service, location! Top quality and will always be a go to stop whenever we visit Montreal in the future. I'm only sad I didn't have photos to post.Kid-friendliness: Being such a small place, they still made our kids feel welcomed.“
“I've ordered pizza and panini twice for my kids birthdays and it's always amazing ? food is always fresh and oh so tasty. We can't get enough. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic pizza al taglio??“
“An almost perfect dinner.By nature, man develops fewer thoughts on the reasons for his happiness than for his unhappiness: the first is a green light, the second is a red one. So, although I was struck by the virtuosity of the meal and the graceful harmony of the decor, I replayed in my mind the only negative aspect of my visit: the appearance of detachment in the reception. I would like people to like seeing me, as much as I like seeing others. This desire is not a matter of pride – I am not offended – I only need human warmth. I can count myself well off, however, because I was still in the presence of a wonderful friend who makes every moment more joyful and meaningful.By arriving early on Sunday, we often ensure we are the first customers. This is not necessarily intended, but oh so pleasant! A providential privilege. A room for us, a chef for us, a feeling of freedom and pleasure increased tenfold. The smell of cooking that wafted into our nostrils foreshadowed the treat to come for our palates. As a matter of fact — I mentioned it to you earlier — the soft coconut bread sandwiches were sublime, bursting with flavor, the BBQ pork remaining our favorite, with the jerk chicken following closely behind. Also devoured was a succulent potato salad, off the menu. Am I hallucinating or were the prices incredibly low ($8 for an entrée, $12 for a sandwich) for so much goodness?I offered my compliments to the chef on numerous occasions and my insistence finally bore fruit in the form of a hint of a smile from her. Even if one of the goals of a eulogy is to give the praiser a pleasant emotion through his smiling acceptance, I was not trying to get into his good graces. I simply wanted to express my gratitude for this wonderful moment.I sincerely hope you go there as soon as you have the chance. The delights and ambiance of Lucki Delite reminded me why I fell in love with the Montreal culinary scene.Vegetarian options: Squash sandwichParking: Parking spaces all along Avenue du Parc. Charges based on time.Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't dare say too much, but it's more of a restaurant where you can eat for two.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, plenty of space to move around.“
“Very friendly, family-run café with “home” style cuisine. We are happy to encourage a new business in the neighborhood. Thank you for the warm welcome and see you soon!Dietary restrictions: Several plant-based milksKid-friendliness: Very popular toy and games corner“
“I honestly only have good things to say about this place! There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly! The service was so friendly and everyone was working together and in a good mood! Their tiramisu was one of the best I've had and their coffee crema was insane! Definitely come try this place out ??“
“One of my favorite cafes in this city. They make the absolute best coffees and even the decaf is amazing! Super fun italian coffee bar style with retro vibes. Very unique and non boring for a change in this city. The staff are all super kind in a great mood! Their deserts are to die for! I highly recommend it if you want a unique experience, good mood, and disconnect from your phone and actually talk with humans. Thank you Caffettiera for opening your doors to us!“
“Nestor is a scholar when it comes to tea.Furthermore, the combinations he offers are always excellent. It’s a place that advocates disconnection, forget your computer. Here you are there to discuss or even meditate.I really recommend this place!“
“Came here with friends and the mini crêpes were really delicious! We had 30 puffs and chose two of the recommended recipes, and they really disappeared within 5 minutes. The Professor recipe (banana, strawberry and chocolate) was just perfect for dessert after our heavy meal, not too sweet and light enough to enjoy without being too much, and the apple caramel recipe (which comes with a choice of ice-cream or whipped cream) would be awesome for anyone who likes apple crumbles, cinammon and fall style desserts. Coffee and oreo milkshake was good too. The price is great, and the owner was super kind and helpful. We'd arrived a little before the opening time and he generously let us stay inside, gave us a lot of time to choose and kindly answered all our questions. Really glad I came here! Will definitely be back.“
“The atmosphere was instantly welcoming with Diba and her father asking us about our days and giving us a run down of the cafe. Her mother's cakes, especially the pistachio cake, were heavenly. My boyfriend loved them so much that he expects to have them every time he comes back. The persian latte and the persian fog were decorated with love and have notes of pistachio and saffron.I am definitely going to try everything on the menu, but I just had to write this review because I felt that I had found a gem.“
“If you love tea you will love this place!!! Great tea, great food and cakes, great place, friendly staff and easy music playing and a good place to meet people. Very nice place in a very friendly neighbourhood :-) highly recommended :-) if you live locally or simply passing through Parkdale :-)“
“The cafe has a hipster and trendy style, with a large dining room. The atmosphere remains resolutely modern, accompanied by satisfactory service. Although the menu is limited, the options offered are quality, offering a decent dining experience in a contemporary and trendy setting.“
“Best coffee place not only in dowtown but in the city. The staff are the best and super friendly and the vibe is awesome. If you’re looking for the best place to hang out with friends and/or study there you go, you’ll love it for sure. Also big S/O to the owners who are doing their best keeping the place cozy and “
“I was close to berri-uqam station in st. catherine and I didn’t have much time to choose a place to eat, so I saw this spot and I liked the quality of their sandwitches , and they have friendly staff.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sandwitch“
“One of the best coffee spots in Montreal. A small and cozy place that offers an amazing and tasty coffee. I went there with my wife to grab a coffee and some croissants which was absolutely tasteful. The service is wonderful and the owners are so friendly. Prices are compatible with the quality offered.Vegetarian options: They have almond milk“
“Delicious vegan pastries & very efficient service! The big almond cornetto was super delicious - can't wait to get one again! They change their menu weekly.Vegetarian options: 100% delicious vegan pastriesDietary restrictions: 100% vegan. Some pastries contain nuts.“
“Wowww coming in the little cafe is like walking into Grandma’s house. So warm and inviting! Smells delicious you want to try everything !I had the fresh grilled croissant ham and cheese sandwich - melt in your mouth!Paired it with an amazing cappuccino with an added heart shaped foam which I thought was the cutest thing.Having trouble leaving. Lollll“
“Absolutely delicious chemex and mocha. Not a great place for working as they put you in a very small tight section but in this case thankfully they allowed us to work while we were drinking our drinks. Definitely not a place where a digital nomad can work.“
“I loved my experience, everything was good the food the atmosphere the fact that there are 2 floors which makes more room the staff is kind and courteous I really recommend and the iced matcha is excellent! I went back to try more of your delicious dishes :)“
“Very good place to enjoy a coffee. They have lots of recipes to discover. The staff is very welcoming and courteous.Vegetarian options: Pastries and coffees available. Several types of milk available.Parking: Parking available in surrounding streets and in front of the restaurant. Lots of free places.“
“Very cool place , Owner is a Pastry chef , been over 15 yrs !! , and it shows , pastries are really good , food is awsome too !! , beautiful little gem in the village . Breakfast sandwiches are Really Awesome,Fresh Homemade Goodness , Coffee is really good, and Staff is Very Cool also !!! , give it a try !! , you won’t regret it for sure !!!!.“
“This cozy pastry and coffee shop is amazing! Their cream rolls, especially Miss Pistachio and Hazelnut, are so yummy. The place feels warm and comfy, and the staff is super nice. Definitely worth a visit!Kid-friendliness: they have ice cream different flavors for children“
“The atmosphere is so cute, not to mention the name of the café itself very good for a date or just going out with friends for a coffee with a good pastry. The tastes are varied and special. I recommend the base of the base the strawberry shortcake ? ??“
“We took an afternoon, walk to go and grab a coffee somewhere and found this little gem. The coffee is quite tasty and the view is very nice. It’s just in front of Place des Arts. Delicious drinks, in a very nice part of the city.Parking: Depending on the time of day and the day of the week, you may be able to find street parking on Ontario Street, Saint Laurent Street and since you are close to the main attractions, there are also interior parking spaces around“
“You know the coffee is going to be amazing when the barista refuses to serve the first batch of espresso they made because it wasn't up to their standard, and then remakes the coffee. Probably the best coffee I have had in the city, I only wish the place was a little bigger.“
“I enjoyed myself and really liked the concept: a few choices on the menu, certainly all excellent.I ordered a “Free Kebab” with lamb, and I have nothing but positive things to say about this one. The sandwich bread is prepared as you go, so it’s fresh and delicious. (I don't know if this is a traditional recipe, but either way, it's great). As for the toppings, I found the portions to be generous, and it's obvious that the ingredients were fresh. Even the little pieces of cucumber brought freshness to the mix.Otherwise, the team is efficient and very friendly... I recommend!(If I had one suggestion, it would be to use a little warmer/brighter lighting in the back of the restaurant, where the majority of the tables are.)“
“I recently visited this charming little café in Montreal and I have to say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the cozy décor to the delicious coffee, everything was top-notch. I would highly recommend this café to anyone looking for a warm and inviting spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee!“
“Very good latte, the notes are potent and you can choose light or dark roast espresso. Scones are nice and crunchy. The latte does get a bit cold quickly which is fine for me cause I like to drink it fast and not too hot, but would have liked a heads up cause I wouldn’t have waited to drink it :)“
“Adorable and cute coffee shop. The barista was charming and offered good advice. The attention to detail and aesthetics is incredible with pretty drinks and those slices of cake straight out of an animated film. The cakes are fresh, light, delicious and the Sakura matcha is memorable.“
“I only came there once, and the lady who welcomed us was extraordinarily kind!I felt like my Mom was taking care of me!Living a little far away, for a few midday snacks, I now often have them delivered, and it's always a pleasure to open the box and see these delicious sandwiches!Thank you to the team for making us so happy!“
“My favorite Montreal spot to satisfy my coffee cravings! The coffee they serve is undoubtedly the best I've tasted in the city, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I couldn't ask for a better Montreal coffee shop experience! Wishing you guys lots of success! ☕“
“I visited this coffee shop four times during a week stay in old Montreal. The coffee (I got flat whites) was consistently very good. The service was always friendly. They serve oat milk as a default (though regular milk is also an option) at no extra charge. I very much appreciate their effort in helping us all shift towards more sustainable choices by making them both affordable and delicious. Good looking pastries too!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian savory scones and one of two sandwich options is vegetarian.“
“Yet another amazing dinner at Dinette Marcella. We sat at the bar, giving us an opportunity to try some amazing cocktails while chatting with the bartender. The food was outstanding, especially the creamy mushroom gnocchi. This is my second time visiting Marcella while on holiday in Montreal. I look forward to coming back again soon.“
“Had a wonderful experience there. we had bought the bagels next door and went in to buy the coffee. The owner was gracious to offer us seating, plates and utensils so that we could enjoy our breakfast and wouldn't have to sit outside in the cold. very thankful for that. Coffee and croissant were great but the best part was generous hospitality“
“Tommy's Cafe located on 200 Notre - Dame St. W, is a beautiful place to stop in & enjoy a cup of coffee. The avocado toast was delicious, I savored every bite. There were live hanging plants all around the store which made the ambiance very peaceful & welcoming.“
“Small, unpretentious place, in an intimate and warm atmosphere. At Denise, everything is in the glass and on the plate. A sophisticated, gourmet, precise and very emotional cuisine; like this cardel ceviche with shiso leaf, just incredible! Natural wines from Quebec, we like it local ;). My best surprise 2023. And all of this very accessible $.“
“We are from the US and were visiting friends in the Verdun neighborhood and happened to walk by Pavillon Snack Bar. We stopped and ate a late lunch. The place has a nice local vibe, super friendly folks, good local beer on tap, coffee made with attention and the crispy chili egg toast is a must! The breakfast burrito is top notch too! If those 2 dishes are any indication, the rest of the menu must be incredible. I highly recommend.“
“Such a cute little café, and everything they have is vegan! Felt so nice to be able to pick anything on the menu! Came here several times during my trip to Montréal, it was the perfect breakfast spot. They open early and have a nice selection of pastries and drinks. Everything my friend and I tried was delicious! The location is also excellent if you are staying/doing things downtown. I will absolutely come back here if I ever find myself in Montréal again!Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan!“
“A real experience!I came by this wonderful cafe in the neighborhood of park extension while here visiting a friend. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with such warmth and hospitality. Besides the inviting decor and people the coffee is maybe the best i have had in the city I sat down and ordered a spinach pie "spanakopita" after seeing one of the owners rolling out the phyllo dough for the pie......let me just say it was fantastic such a beautiful and light herb flavor with the right amount of feta cheese. When I was done and went to the counter to pay I noticed these beautiful almond and pistachio croissants.....needless to say I took one of each to go. I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to all my friends.“
“One of the best ice cream places in montreal, the sundae has a delicious, rich and fresh feeling to it, the syrups add the perfect flavor without being too sweet. My personal recommendation would be the “sirop d’erable et noix”(maple syrup and walnut) sundae, which is the perfect swirl of a variety of flavors that are the perfect combo to end an amazing sunday in old port“
“Coffee and food are top notch, servers are excellent. The atmosphere is difficult - it is quite small and when I was there was very quiet - everybody could hear every word of our conversation - no privacy. It’s beautifully designed though.“
“First off! Atmosphere was incredible such cool jams playing and warm inviting space. The whole staff made you feel like family. The food was the most authentic Italian you can find around here. The homemade focaccia to the handmade noodles, this place hands down 10 stars! As we paid we made another reservation to enjoy once more before heading back to California! Highly recommend having a bite here!Thank you so much to the whole team“
“We were in the area for some other business and decided to go in for an afternoon coffee and treat. We found parking on the street and paid for our space at the meter. We were quite happy with the food quality and the beverages. We saw one great treat after another, and decided to order a few different things so that we could share. The coffee and latte was deliciousThe service was mediocre, no extra effort to make it extra special just very straight to the point which is fine .The interior decoration was also OK we felt it was lacking something , maybe a Personal touch of sorts.Very nice discovery on Park Avenue .“
“Elie found this café and suggested that we go and discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat and they serve it to you. There’s nothing weird about it. It’s just confusing when you get in because they don’t necessarily explain it to you. we’ve seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect and two for the server to bring the food to the right table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese and tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic and not enough basil. For people who have travelled around and have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we’re being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly. The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn’t really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside and the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish. It was OK to visit. The decor inside is nice. a nice place to visit if you’re looking for a quick breakfast in a downtown area of Montreal.“
“A very whimsical and cozy place where in summer, you can enjoy a seat outdoors with a very decent cup of coffee (only 3 milk options), homemade baked goods, sandwiches, soup, salads, chilli and more. Sometimes they have gluten-free, vegan options. The only thing is they don’t have their lunch “service” figured out too well. Those who wish to order to-go and those who take a seat to dine in and those who wait at the door to be assigned a seat. No direction given which often leads to chaos of some being served immediately and others having to wait over 35 minutes before even spoken to hence, my rating. The staff is pleasant and kind and seem to enjoy working here. Some really care about their customers too which is refreshing. So, the only thing that would make this gorgeous gem take a step up in its category , I would personally suggest, is for the management giving clear directions when it comes to the client service during lunch to not raise any further people complain as I have witnessed during my time spent there.Otherwise, I recommend 100%.“
“I recently had the pleasure of ordering a chocolate pecan cake from here, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Despite it being a last-minute order, they ensured that my cake was delivered on time, which was incredibly impressive.“
“BEAUTIFUL cafe, with a vibrant and friendly staff! Incredible lattes, scones, and atmosphere overall. I tried the citron scone so much that I ordered one of each kind of scone they had! I was not disappointed! Only wish there was more seating, but the latte art was unique on each latte we ordered, and the different coloured saucers were a beautiful edition. Will definitely come again!“
“I had Uncle T. last week and found it way both too sweet and too salty. This, on the other hand, hits the spot. It is perfect. If you know German Käsekuchen--the original inspiration for Japanese-style cheesecake--and soufflé, then this is the perfect meeting of the two. While they are not cheap, they are worthwhile. (I had a plain cheesecake).“
“You won't find a better cafe in Montreal. Friendly, quirky, and comfortable. The food menu looks amazing. We came for coffee and ended up with some of the best coffee anywhere in the city. They had mimosas and croissants to boot, and we stayed longer than anticipated. Great vibe, a new place on our Montréal circuit.“
