The atmosphere is very relaxed and it feels like a genuine local spot rather than a generic chain. The staff were friendly and efficient, getting my order out quickly even though it was quite busy. It is a great place to sit down with a book for an hour or catch up on some emails. I will definitely be coming back when I am in this part of town again.“

“was buying starbucks' true north blonde roast for awhile. my place of work brews the veranda blend where i got introduced to light roast coffee. had no idea blonde roast even existed to be honest. noticed 49th parallel had a light roast variety of their own. bought a bag of epic espresso just to sample it but i keep coming back for more. excellent coffee and my new favorite ! ☕“

The cortado was honestly one of the best I've had, and the staff were super friendly even though it was pretty busy. As someone visiting from Ontario, I wasn't expecting such a cozy, laid-back vibe - it felt like a neighbourhood spot that locals actually love. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Montreal.“

“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. So the day was pretty perfect.🖤“

“@ Matcha holds a special place in my heart. Nestor, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, and you can truly feel the care and passion he puts into everything he does.

Every time I go there, it feels like a new experience: there is always something to discover, whether it’s a new tea preparation, one of his pieces of art, or just a thoughtful conversation.

The space has such a warm and calming atmosphere, and the quality of the matcha is amazing. I always leave feeling happy and inspired.

“The food was so good. I got to try their lentil soup with bread. As desserts, I got the Matcha-gato with saffron ice cream. Surprisingly, it blends well with the matcha. To describe it, the matcha is more herbal and milky from the saffron ice cream… it’s a unique combination, but I actually like how the matcha-gato is made :) For the drinks, I got to try their Galaxy Rose and their Hot Pistachio drinks. For the Galaxy Rose, it’s a sweet, yet herbal taste. It has a hint of orange, marshmallow-y flavor, along with the butterfly pea tea herbs and saffron. That’s a 10/10 for me.
For the Hot Pistachio, it’s very nutty and milky that actually taste like an actual roasted pistachio compared to other cafes I’ve tried where it has a medicinal/artificial taste. With that being said, this is probably my fav cafe place to get a Pistachio drink if you guys like Pistachio. This is also a 10/10 for me

The service is very good. We were able to get a refill for the bread for our lentil soup, we also got free water and Ali, the staff, welcomed us with warmth. I’m definitely going there again !

The atmosphere is nice. The place is filled with Persian and Iranian decor and a pretty chill spot to study.

I treated myself to their baked goods, and oh my — the apple pie was nothing short of heavenly, with a perfectly balanced sweetness and a tender, flaky crust. The banana cake was moist, fragrant, and had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture that serious cake lovers dream of. I paired them with an oat-milk latte, and it was so smooth and comforting — just the right warmth, the right froth, and just enough subtle sweetness. Truly felt like the perfect cozy pick-me-up. The soundscape included music playing with a sprawled out sofa seating space on one side and long bench available in the other end of the room. Overall, the cafe with its focus on sound system and equipment at first glance seems too unassuming for a cafe space. It turned out to be a great Saturday find.“
