“5 stars because it’s a good ice cream. I didn’t like the coconut flavour that much, but the mango+passion fruit was good. Nice visuals, def a good place to take an ice cream cone and post it on social media. I wouldn’t pay 7.50$+tx again for it but it wasn’t bad.“

“Love the cherry-chocolate-amaretto and vanilla raspberry ice cream flavors. You can get your ice cream and walk through the park. They were so patient and enthusiastic in allowing us to taste a few different flavors. The line was more like a mob in front of the shop and could probably be organized a bit better. Their dog is so cute!“

“My wife and I were looking for something refreshing and energizing that wasn’t coffee, so we decided to give Matcha Zanmai a try. What a cute little place.

The decor is wonderful, the staff were friendly, and the entire menu is basically a celebration of matcha. Our drinks were absolutely delicious—smooth, refreshing and full of flavour.

We did, however, seriously underestimate the caffeine kick. In hindsight, “energizing” was definitely the correct word.

Still, this was a great find and somewhere we’d happily visit again.“

The gentleman with the cap he speaks Arabic (sorry I don't know his first name) was super super mega extra nice and professional and fast, he has fun at his work,

“This small ice cream shop gets very busy at night. There are no seats, so it is a strict grab-and-go spot. I think the place is okay. The flavors are nothing special, but they have a lot of options on the menu. They have frozen custard and many fruit sorbets, so there is something for everyone. The best part was the staff. They were very friendly and nice, even though it was crowded. It is a good spot to walk by and grab a quick sweet treat.“

“Good ice cream spot in the area. Nice location, close to numerous parks & by the water. Big menu, lots of variety and many formats (for all the family). Downside, the service was extremely slow. The line did not move for the first 15 minutes. The ice creams were good (the biscoff blitz could have used more pieces). The prices are fair for portions. Weird observation, the ice cream wasn’t very cold (weird to say but yeah). Overall, worth the visit.“

“I remember the ice cream castle from when I was very, very small. There was the polar bear and the arcade games! Then it became reborn into this amazing new ice cream castle, which the ice cream is so much better and there are more options. The colours are so whimsical and fun it makes you feel very much welcomed!“

“My husband and I are not from here and stumbled upon this place. It satisfied our cravings and pleasantly surprised us with delicious soft serve and high quality toppings. I got the dark chocolate with brownies and chocolate crunches. He got the dulce de leche with cookie crunchies and some milk candy square things. Holy moly each item was delicious by itself and tasted like real ingredients, not fake chocolate flavoring or anything artificial. “Our Montreal friends told us these were essential. They weren't exaggerating.

Mr. Puffs sits in a heavily touristed area, which usually makes me skeptical, but locals insisted, and locals were right. The pitch is simple: this is the best part of a doughnut, crispy outside, soft and warm inside, without any of the dense filler (but I'm sure that's an option)

The menu is pleasantly overwhelming. So many drizzle and topping combinations that choosing takes a minute, and you order by the box rather than the piece. I lean savory over sweet as a rule, so I went in expecting to try one and be done. Instead I ate half the box.

My standouts were the Bueno chocolate and the plain caramel. Eaten hot and fresh, straight out of the box, they're exactly what everyone promised. Light, crisp, warm, ridiculously good.

Nobody is claiming this is health food. It's a fun food, done extremely well, and I'd absolutely eat it again. Zero regrets.“
