“I went to Alma twice during my 4 day trip to Montreal. I had the hulk salad and both the detox & cloud smoothies. Everything was delicious. Also the staff were really kind, and able to help me out since I don’t speak French fluently. The location and the vibe inside the cafe is really trendy and bright. I would definitely go back to Alma when I’m back in Montreal.“

“Thank you to Poulet Rouge Côte-Des-Neiges for their continued support of Kurling for Kids 2026 at the TMR Curling Club this past weekend. “I really love salads so I was drawn to this “gourmet salad” location that reviews had raved about.

For roughly $17, it’s certainly expensive for a salad but comparable to the prices outside these days.

Highlights:
A. the dressing. I wasn’t expecting much but I agree now with others that it is quite the standout! More than sufficient and complemented the salad very well.
B. The avocado - generous portion (a quarter or half) and perfectly ripe and creamy.
C. Crunchy noodles - added texture to the salad

Areas of Improvement:
A. Had added extra sweet potato. Can’t tell from the photo but they weren’t very generous with the addition despite paying an extra amount to this. Was also diced so small I didn’t really even notice it in the salad. Would personally skip the additions again if I knew.
B. No utensils or napkins in the bag. Luckily I was able to find another place that offered me that but normally it’s offered already in the sealed takeout bag.
C. Lettuce size - agree with what someone else had said. It was a rather big leaf to eat sometimes and wish it was just a bit more refined.

“We really wanted to try a Montreal bagel style, and here you can get one with salmon + cream cheese. If we definitely prefer NY bagel style, it was generously filled (salmon was excellent) and staff very friendly !

“This restaurant is one of the hidden gems in Montreal. We found it on a trip here a year ago and came back twice this trip. We have had brunch twice and dinner tonight and it didn't disappoint. “Best food on the planet, it’s as if you’re eating on a summer evening in Greece. I recommend the grilled octopus and Greek salad as well as the pork chops!! Truly, it melts in your mouth and each bite is flavourful. This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal, I don’t think any other place can compare. The service was awesome, staff were very kind and always engaging with us making sure our service was good. This place deserves a 5 star rating, even higher if possible“

First, it was the combination of lemon, mint, and zahtar - bright, savory, and deeply comforting all at once - that turned a simple meal into something quietly unforgettable.

But beyond the *incredible* dining experience, it was meeting and having the opportunity to speak with Sona that made the visit so beautifully special: her warmth, her stories, and her pride in Armenian culture made me feel both welcomed to Montreal and connected to a wider, generous global community.

“We have a location in Toronto, but the first time I tried Mandy's is at this location in Montreal. I never thought I'd go to a salad bar or restaurant because I figured, what's the big deal with salad? However, my sister really likes salad so I took her here because well Mandy's is known for salad.

I was actually impressed! I got a steak salad and the greens were really fresh and there was a lot of salad in my bowl. The quantity is a lot and I wasn't sure if I could even finish it. Yes, I was almost not able to finish a bowl of salad. They are very generous with the portion for the price you pay and the dressing is actually quite good. I felt like a rabbit the whole time and my sister really enjoyed her salad.

The customer service is also very kind as well which I appreciated. They offered to make my sister another salad because of a potential allergy but it wasn't needed.

If you're looking for a healthy lunch and to get your veggies in, Mandy's salads is the spot! I would definitely probably go again!“

“Atmosphere is beautiful, staff is friendly but… super disorganized. I ordered hot chocolates and cappuccinos to go but it took 30 minutes to make. Our drinks weren’t hot, not even warm… I also ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich with waffle fries that came out in no time but I still had to wait 30 minutes for my drinks. So as you would expect my food was cold since it was to go. There is potential here, staff need to synchronize and communicate. Sure I could have gone back in and asked to redo my order but I didn’t feel like waiting another 30 minutes to get the same outcome.“
