Visiting from Toronto with my mom and two daughters. My kids are super super picky so for me I would have ventured to various restaurants in Montreal I decided to settle for something i can guarantee my kids will eat and im happy we did stop at chalet bbq.

Delicious food service really good super busy in there and clean bathroom.

What I appreciate the most is how clean and organized everything feels, even during busy hours. You can tell there’s real attention to hygiene and care.

“Whoever came up with these bowl ideas deserves to be arrested… for making them ridiculously good! 😂 The Volcano Rouge Bowl is simply amazing. The vegetables are fresh, the quality is excellent, and the combinations and flavours are absolutely top-notch.
The restaurant also has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a very clean environment. This used to be my go-to restaurant during my university days, and it’s great to see that the food is still this good!“

“It was the best fried chicken we’ve had in a long time!!! 🥹😍 The spaghetti reminds me of Jollibee. I love that it has so much sauce. The bbq was tender, easy to eat and the shanghai was good too! “It's a really great fried chicken spot and I personally liked it a lot. Most of the chicken was really tasty and crispy, but I felt like the drumsticks weren’t as well seasoned as the other pieces. The only downside is the two-person tables are a bit small, which makes it a little tight when you’re eating. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend it and would come back again to try more.“

“We were looking for alternatives to popular Portugese chicken places while visiting Montreal and stumbled into Campo after learning they were at the Timeout Market. The meal was a bit of a disappointment overall. Ribs were dry and sauce was drizzled on. The chicken was just alright, and the potatoes had an earthy taste that I personally do not like. It's alright as a workday lunch, but left slightly disapointed during travels.

The waiting staff was excellent though. Monday evening staff was very hospitable.“

“Last Friday Cote St-Luc BBQ generously donated delicious lunches to Mount Sinai Hospital’s nursing teams in honour of Nursing Week. They wanted to feed all of our nurses and support staff who everyday take care of others.

“Went to this location for dinner, had a St-Burger. It was delicious. I was a bit surprised that for the cups they gave people for their drinks, all they had was those plastic one-size-only cups with no plastic drink covers like you would see at Subway, McDonald’s, Harvey’s, etc. And I got my cup first due to my food taking a bit of a while to cook. Which meant that I, as a solo diner, had to make two trips to my table to be able to safely bring my food and full drink to my table without spilling it. Thankfully, I didn’t spill it, but I would have liked it if the recyclable 21 ounce drink cups present at other fast food locations were present here. Experience was great overall though. I love St-Hubert and St-Hubert Express!

I also want to praise this location for being kid friendly, even though I don’t have kids myself. They had an entire dining section dedicated to kids, as well as high chairs with disposable plastic bibs on them covered under see-through plastic. However, I honestly believe that those bibs should be available to all diners regardless of age because of how messy St-Hubert’s ribs are to eat. I have had St-Hubert’s ribs at other locations, and I can tell you right off the bat that St-Hubert’s ribs make a splatter and fall off the bone much easier than other places’ ribs. And if tucking in a napkin in your shirt collar makes you feel a bit silly when eating them compared to using an actual bib, which has a bit more decorum knowing how lobster and some barbecue joints in the USA and parts of English Canada offer their clientele bibs for messy eats, I think that the restaurant should either put the bibs on a specific rack on the wall in the restaurant like how McDonald’s Canada used to do pre-2021, or at the very least offer those same bibs but in adult sizes too. Especially since asking for extra napkins for those messy ribs makes you kind of feel like you are disrespecting the environment, since those napkins can and most likely will get used up kind of quickly.

“To have the best well done chicken that actually is made fresh with great taste and juiciness, you will have to wait about an hour, but it is worth it.
You guys have to understand how hard these ladies work in a small kitchen with charcoals and keep oiling and looking over the meat
