“Recommended by a friend so I tried their signature Beef Bibimbap.
The bowl came in super hot and sizzling!The chopped vege tastes fresh and sauce not overly spicy, a bit salty though.
The portion could be bigger otherwise may not be fulfilling enough for some.
Overall a budget friendly quick meal in a casual atmosphere, will drop by sometime again to try other items on their menu.“

“I was a McGill student back in 2017. I used to come here 3x a week, mainly for their pork bone soup. Nearly a decade later and I’m back: the pork bone soup is still just as incredible, and they’ve upgraded their interior!“

“Very vibey inside like you're in a street market in Asia. Also each table feels a little intimate in setting and there are wall separators so it's not too loud.

Each table has a range hood it's not too loud and it's super efficient I didn't come out with my clothes or hair smelling. You get a bunch of side dishes you can refill unlimited and the food was all really good. Our bibimbap bowl didn't have the crust at the bottom but they corrected the issue. The meat all tasted really good. We also ordered a marinated meat but got the unmarinated and was charged unmarinated meat so nbd but I would say to double check your order to be sure it's what you got and up to your standard. They're accommodating.

Service was great, you can flag down any server and ask for what you need.

We got the short ribs, pork Jowl, pork shoulder. All delicious, different, tender. Various sauces too. Next time, I'd probably not get the bibimbap and just more meat.“

I lived in Montreal for five long years in Côte-des-Neiges (same neighbourhood as Chez Lee )and only came across this gem 2 years before leaving. Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING! Especially Chicken Katsu and Bibimbap-two of my absolute favs. ❤️ You can blindly trust when I say they serve authentic, fresh, and big portions of food. “What an amazing find it was stopping in at Restaurant Itaewon! We first stopped in for Soju and snacks, and returned a few days later for lunch. The beef dumplings are a must try. The pork bibimbap was tasty with just the right amount of spice, and the fried chicken was nice and crispy, even after being drenched in sauce. The food was delicious but the customer service was really what stood out. Our waiter remembered us from our first visit and was so kind, helpful and has amazing customer service. We will come back next time we’re in MTL.“

“I’ve been coming here for a few years now, mainly for their onigiri. They are always fresh, filling, and consistently good. I finally tried the bibimbap today and I can’t believe I waited this long. I got the beef one and it was amazing. It was very flavorful, well balanced, and really comforting.

The ladies working there are always kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It is such a cozy and reliable go to spot. Highly recommend. !!“

“Warm and friendly service by the lady at the front counter. Nice springy homemade noodles. Wish I could finish it if I didn't have to watch my carbs intake. Fresh ingredients. Place is clean. Korean songs are on but not loud enough, so one can still talk. Only thing the beef for the noodles was a bit tough/chewy, but maybe I didn't know how to appreciate it. There was plenty of proteins and greens in the serving.“

The service was so nice, the lady was so sweet and attentive the whole time. my boyfriend took a bite of the chicken and said it was better than any chicken he’s had so far, ate the cream jjampong and declared that this is probably his favourite restaurant from now on, and finally ate the soba noodles and sashimi and said that it was the true korean flavour. I was really impressed at the taste of all the food, the flavours were unique in a very good way. even though we are only two, and that i have an appetite of a mouse, we managed to finish everything without leaving anything behind. i’m definitely coming back next time.“

“So good. I had the fried calamari and bibimbap. The fried calamari are by far the best I ever had. So tender. The beef bibimbap was great. Serve in a hot bow,l I recommend that you let the rice crisp up at the bottom before mixing the egg. The service was great too. I forgot the name of the drink but it was very good. It's the one made from Soju and yuzu. It's a small place with a soft atmosphere. Next time I'm in Montreal I will absolutely eat there again.“

“The Kimchi 7B Beef was good overall. I’m not sure why they replaced the paper bowls with handles with plastic ones.they get very hot and the old ones were much more practical.

Also, the beef didn’t taste the same as before. The color looked a bit pale, and it was missing the flavor I remember. Maybe they’ve changed the meat or it’s from a new supplier. Next time, I’ll probably order the chicken instead.“

BOK has become one of our family’s favourite restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, but what really makes this place special is the staff. They are always incredibly welcoming, attentive, and amazing with our family.

Food not tasting Korean for me., its more of Chinese style of cooking but with korean flavours. I'd give it 3.5 / 5
Quantity is a lot though so thats a plus.

“It's a really great fried chicken spot and I personally liked it a lot. Most of the chicken was really tasty and crispy, but I felt like the drumsticks weren’t as well seasoned as the other pieces. The only downside is the two-person tables are a bit small, which makes it a little tight when you’re eating. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend it and would come back again to try more.“
