“The food was delicious and well priced. The quality was very good. We had the shrimp tempura and miso soup to start. Each of us had a poke bowl - tuna and the salmon and tuna. Each was served over rice and salad but could be served only over salad. There is also brown rice if you prefer.“

“A delicious and wonderful find me and my boyfriend stumbled into. This is genuinely some of the best food i’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I would highly recommend. Owners are very nice and friendly and the ambiance inside is unmatched. It's cozy and homey and the food is truly comforting.

“I had the pleasure of discovering this hidden gem today, and I must say, it’s one of the best sushi spots I’ve ever been to this year!This family-owned business truly makes sushi with love.
The owners are professional, hard-working, and a joy to chat with. The quality of the sushi is fantastic, with fresh ingredients and the perfect ratio of rice to fish.

“Thank you for this amazing last minute dinner meal I picked up for my family. The soup of the day was absolutely delicious and fresh. The chopped salad was amazing. The tuna, shrimp, beef and chicken tacos were very tasty. The portions are generous and reasonably priced for quality food! I will definitely be returning.“

“J'ai visité ce restaurant sans aucune attente pour un diner alors que j'étais dans le coin. Quelle découverte! J'ai pris une soupe avec du porc, suggérée par la serveuse (qui était super gentille et nous conseillait vraiment bien). Le porc était si tendre que je le coupais avec mes baguettes. La souper était tellement gouteuse. Des saveurs que je n'avais jamais expérimentées et tout cela dans un petit resto super sympathique. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables. Honnêtement, j'ai juste hâte de retourner dans le coin pour y manger à nouveau et essayer d'autres plats sur leur menu. Une superbe découverte. Dommage que j'habite aussi loin! ;)“

“The Mapo Tofu was SO FLAVOURFUL ..!!It was the best Mapo tofu Ive ever had !!The rice was very well cookedI enjoyed my 12 am late night yummiest Chinese food & felt blessed..!!❤️ Thank you so much for putting in so much effort for this recipe!I am so surprised google never showed me this restaurant since a year, accidentally tumbled on Uber eats!!They also sent me 2 biscuits & 4 candies ? due to Easter..!!?I will surely be a regular at their restaurant now on?Edit: We went to the restaurant yesterday & it was very nice!!Olivia, the owner is extremely extremely sweet, she serves you like you are at her home! She is Chinese Korean herself & she definitely knows her spices & sauces well ?We again ordered Mapo topu & Jap chae noodles !& OH MY GOODNESS the Jap chae was So flavourful, they are so perfect in their sauces !Mapo tofu we requested a bit less spicy, & was made with lots of veggies & mushroom!There’s a lot more to try herePlease please do not miss out eating at this restaurant! “A gem in NDG, a small and cozy restaurant. Been here a few times and I have to say this is the BEST Tangsu Pork I’ve tried in the city. I have tried other Chinese and Korean restaurants with similar dishes, but nothing can beat this one. Pork feet was also to die for. Price is reasonable and staff are super friendly and nice. Portions are generous.“

“I am so happy finally get a bubble tea store around where I live, it's all brand new inside a dive in restaurant, and I ordered a Brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls, to my surprised it's pretty tasty, and the girls working there are pretty nice and patient, the service is really fast which only took few minutes. I will absolutely go back. ??“
“Don't let the looks of the place fool you, these are very good sushi at an affordable price. The rice is correctly seasoned and their futomaki recipes are surprisingly delicious. My favourite? Glad you asked: Spicy Hamachi (the big one), Dynamite and Kamikaze. The owners are always smiling and oh so friendly.“

“We really liked the vegan sushi buffet! There was a good variety of delicious dishes: wonton, miso or sweet and sour soup; seaweed salad, edamame, ravioli with peanut sauce (spicy and non-spicy), gyoza, fake chicken skewer, vegetable tempura, fried fake shrimp, vegetable stir-fry, tofu, fake chicken with pineapple, fake beef with sesame, nigiri with fake tuna and salmon, vegetable sushi, sushi with fries, sushi coated with tofu skin, jalapeño sushi, pistachio sushi, pizza sushi and more. As well as sesame balls for dessert. Very good table service. The robot went back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room, then the waitress brought the dishes from the robot to our table. The service was fast. We took the time to eat in 2 hours. The decoration and furniture are also appreciated. To do again when you want a good vegan sushi buffet!

Parking: We came early around 5:45 p.m. on Friday and we had plenty of room to park on the Sherbrooke toll street which is allowed after 5:30 p.m.“

“Great great great spot the food tastes really good they have big portions.I recommend some plates to take 1 for two people and take a couple of Entré . The drinks look nice and you won't regret it . It took a lil.a bit of time to get the food but we were having a great time so we did not notice.inside look good but we went outside because it was a 25° out .

This restaurant has carved out a niche in the Montreal dining scene with its extensive menu: full Chinese cuisine, a robust steak selection, and even an array of sushi. Not to mention, their homemade desserts add a sweet touch to the dining experience.
One of Chops’ standout features is its impressive wine list, arguably the best kosher selection in Montreal. The inclusion of a couple of non-mevushal options is an unusual and exciting find that adds a layer of sophistication for wine enthusiasts.
However, while the variety is commendable, I did find the overall pricing a bit steep, especially considering the quality of certain dishes. The burger, for example, was underwhelming—nothing memorable, which is disappointing given the expectations set by the menu’s range and the restaurant’s ambiance.“
