“We got the cassava sticks, guasacaca chicken plate, black beans and plantain arepa, and guasacaca arepa. The guasacaca sauce is really delicious and addictive! Really good portion sizes. The fried plantains were amazing! The air conditioning was so cold and perfect!!!

Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian and vegan options of the arepas which is great. The vegan options we tried didn’t feel like you were missing out on richness or flavour.

Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is down a flight of stairs.“

“We were looking for a bakery that made good baguettes because we were fed up with industrial bread from a big brand. And we found it. A crisp and light bread, no heaviness in the stomach after overdoing it. We see that the flour does not come from wheat dried with glyphosate, but from wheat used to growing in our climate.“

The decoration and furniture date from another era but we go there for the Viet food.
The Bun Bo hue is excellent but it's just the noodles, the broth (which is excellent) and the well-cooked beef with tendon.
Their Dac Biet pho, the all-inclusive special, is delicious.
Also try the Nem Nuong mmmmm
Otherwise the Durian smoothie is delicious and fresh too.

But, the brothers behind Parc Sans Gluten are magicians. Their croissants are perfection! True perfection by any standards! Each of their wide assortment of desserts (eclairs, tarts, cakes, turnovers, mille-feuille and more) are exceptional. Equally fantastic are their savory baked goods (multiple flavors of calzones, pizzas, meat pies, wraps, and more). Everything is made in house, from scratch, and is of the highest quality (for example you can see sheet pans of fresh roasted vegetables in the kitchen). Their offerings change weekly, making routine visits a must. “Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“

“If I could give this place a higher review, I would. This place is all gluten free, so for someone with celiac disease, it was for a lack of a better word incredible.
I was in Montréal for 3 days and couldn't get enough of this place. It's like heaven visually and taste wise. I have not found anything that even comes close in competition to this place. I've been trying to figure out a way to word a review that would do it justice. I unfortunately do not have one, but if I could have packed this place up and brought it home with me to west canada I would have.
If they were to go world wide I'm sure world peace could be achieved as soon as people tried something from here. The only regret I have is that I didn't try a crepe until the morning I was leaving because I couldn't get enough of the other options. Then, just when I thought it couldn't get better, the caramel crepe blew my mind.
I could go on forever how good it was but try it for yourself and see, please if your local to Montréal give them the recognition they deserve and the support I wish I could if I lived there.
The atmosphere and staff make it even better, and if I wasn't risking writing a book with how long this review is, I would go on about how great they were along with everything else.

PS. My photos would have been better if I could have refrained from wanting to eat them as soon as I seen them every time I opened the box haha

“Wonderful little bakery located on Rue Wellington, so you can enjoy an iconic pastry on an iconic street.

I stopped by in the early afternoon and most of their options were already out. I was able to nab two of their mini bundt cakes: an early grey orange and a chocolate raspberry, plus a cookie. The former was my favorite with its soft and moist texture, and the slight bitterness of the tea really complimented well with the sweet orange.

Love that this entire place is vegan, gluten-free and soy free, making it a place where nearly anyone can find something to enjoy.
