“I finally got the chance to try this place. Really nice atmosphere, resembles a take on a bodega except with Egyptian street food available. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich, which was staggeringly more pricy than any other shawarma pita I've had. This one was of pretty great quality, but it was also on the smaller side. For nearly $20 on it's own I wasn't really satisfied. The service by the bald guy behind the counter was fantastic, however. The place had a nice vibe to it, I probably would have been happier ordering a bowl.“

“I arrived early on a Tuesday morning to pick up some lunch to-go. The cafe was empty and I was helped immediately. I ordered the ham & cheese croissant and a hot tea for under $10. Then I unwrapped the sandwich for lunch I was surprised it was pressed but it was a nice touch. The tomato and lettuce on the sandwich seemed a bit on the short side but the croissant was delicious and there was a decent about of ham and cheese. All in all a very good value for the price. I would definitely stop by this establishment again.“

“This is not exactly an authentic Banh Mi, but nor do I care. It's like 75% Banh Mi, 25% North American sub. The result is fantastic as the sandwich is much wider than most Banh Mi, packed with crisp veggies and a decent layer of flavourful meat. It's a truly filling Banh Mi that mostly justifies the price. I love eating at Le Central, I enjoy the casual seating options and just how quickly you can stop by for a quality meal.“

“This is overall a really solid subway shop that slices their meat deliciously thin and pretty consitently gets a good ratio of sauce and veggies going. The one downside is have with it is I find they give less meat than other subways ive tried. Its still very good, I just wish they would put one or two more deli slices on my sub. I guess it really depends on what you want/ what sub you get. Overall a good experience 👍“

Issue is that Subway HQ now increased sub prices to franchises where a foot long sub with tax & tip just short $25 - no drinks - no trio - with tax & tip.

I feel bad for those owners as prices are not controlled by them and Subway shops use to be affordable.“

“We have been regular customers since they opened up again. It has a really nice atmosphere and fresh look. The staff are always happy to see us and serve us. Today we were very pleased with our sandwiches they were amazing. Fresh bread made today and they have new mini cookies that were delicious. Sorry to the person behind me as I first ordered 12 mini cookies,then changed my mind and took 24 mixed mini cookies.“

I accidentally left my purse behind and didn’t realize it until I had already left. The next day, several people contacted me through Messenger because Badia, one of the employees, had posted an announcement on Facebook to help find the owner. Thanks to her kindness and honesty, I was able to get in touch with the restaurant.

When I went to pick up my purse, Badia was no longer there, but the staff made sure it was really mine by asking me to describe what was inside and verifying that the photo on my ID matched me. I really appreciated how seriously they took the security of my belongings.

In the end, I got my purse back with everything important still inside.

The attendants were very polite and well informed. Prices are competitive. They are different, with their own style. Not mass coffee serving, good quality of ingredients. Presentation of plates need improvement. I'll go back.“
