“A few summers ago, I set myself the goal of trying every deli in the area to declare a winner. Well, it’s been awhile, but I’m finally ready to crown a victor, a surprising new entrant to the competition: MHAB Fresh! A fellow foodie told me about it, and I’ve now had two wonderful sandwiches there! The first was a roast beef and provolone with onions, greens, and housemade pepper relish on this amazing ciabatta. And today’s was turkey (roasted in house), ham, and salami with fresh mozzarella, marinated onions, banana peppers, lettuce, and tomato on a chewy sub roll. Just excellent! And modestly priced at $5.49 for a sizeable sandwich. They are open 10-5 on weekdays, they have three special sandwiches a day (get on their email list for notifications), and you can order ahead online for quick pickup.
