“I just wrote a review for the establishment next-door and their awesome infrared saunas- figured I would write one for ecobean as well since that is a major part of my ritual. I really love this place, and anytime I come into town from Waterbury Center I always get lunch here. Theo is so personable and so engaging, as are all the other employees. Food is super clean and always delicious… It’s so hard to eat out these days with all the garbage that establishments call ‘food’. I trust the ingredients that they use here and always feel good after I eat their food.“

“Another added visit! We were there on April 16, 2024 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. We were served very well by the very friendly Jessica H. Everything was tasty and satisfying. Total of $32.58 US with tax and tip. We offer you four photos including that of the receipt.Review written on April 18, 2024 in Salaberry de Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada._____________________________________Very satisfactory but the service could have had one more tick.Couple's dinner on July 30, 2023 a little after 4 p.m. We greet DJ, the general manager who came to see us at the table for a little friendly chat to make sure we were satisfied, which was greatly appreciated on our part. Our dishes were not expensive compared to several equivalent restaurants in the United States since the damn pandemic served as an often unjustified pretext to scandalously inflate prices everywhere, even here in Quebec. $12.99 each for our two tasty dishes with unlimited salad and bread. An excellent deal! Our waitress Lilla was friendly but lacked a bit of experience in our opinion such as ensuring our water glasses were always full so we didn't have to ask for cheese on our second helping of salad. The good atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant are worth highlighting. We enjoyed our visit. We have already been there twice but several years ago.Total of $33.28 with tax and tip.We have photos to share with you. We plan to return there soon.We recommend this restaurant.Review written on August 2, 2023 in Salaberry de Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada.“

“The place was wonderful. Food was great and after eating, we watched the eclipse with the restaurant team (very polite and welcoming to everyone). We sat in the parking lot with a few other that just pulled over to watch the eclipse as well. This is an establishment that really knows how to treat their patrons and keep them coming back!!!!!“

“staff is very nice. they seem understaffed/very busy a lot of the times. I recommend, if you place an order for pick up, to come earlier than the time. Sometimes I come right on time, and its already cold, which if you get fries, they wont be the same after the microwave. it is understandable but that is just some feedback as room for growth. everything else, im happy with and come here quite often.Parking: on weekdays, it can be quite easy to find parking around lunchtime.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a lift inside the store. fully ADA business. kudos!“

“I work in downtown Burlington, and Thorn + Roots is one of our go to places for lunch and dinner in the neighborhood. Particularly during the winter, we focus on their excellent grain bowls (Santa Fe and the Mediterranean are favorites) and the salads (Beets Bliss and the Chicken BLT are amazing!). Once the weather warms up, we add smoothie bowls to our options, and they are all great (PB&J açaí is my favorite and my wife loves the Tropical Berry bowl). I’ve also tried their soups this winter, and the chili is perfect on a cold day! You really can’t go wrong with anything on their extensive menu!“

Electra's Restaurant Salad • $$$
5247 Shelburne Rd, Shelburne

“This was our first time dining at Electra’s. There are few and far between restaurants located in Shelburne and this one set itself apart from most in the broader area. Keeping in line with Vermont food ways, the ingredients were sourced locally and called out on the menu. However, the menu was much more upscale than what we typically see and the prices were reasonable for what the dishes were. They were creative, appealed to a broad range of dietary needs, and the presentation was superb. I enjoyed the duck and was really taken aback by it. There were some instances in which it was clear the restaurant was still new and getting its footing but overall the service was attentive and well organized. Looking forward to coming again!“
