“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. So the day was pretty perfect.🖤“

“The best cake pop (birthday cake) I’ve ever had in my life!!! Lucky for me I walked away with just one but I could have easily eaten the entire tray!!! They are mouth watering and I will be back and pretend it’s my birthday EVERYDAY!!!!“

“This bakery is amazing!! Everything is always delicious and the staff is all so friendly. I come here almost every week and look forward to it every time :) the autumn muffin, focaccia, and the toasted grain bread are all personal favourites, but you really can’t go wrong with anything!“

“This is a very good boulangerie located along Mont-Royal Ave East that is open from 7am to 6pm daily. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, many visitors seem to pop in for morning take-away. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.“
