“My wife and I tried this place, thinking about lunch. To our surprise, it’s really a breakfast/brunch place. I had the Kahlua French toast, which was fantastic. It was light and fluffy, grilled to perfection. The sausage links on the side were disappointing. It seemed they came from a box of frozen sausage links and they just heated them up. My wife had an eggs dish (sorry, I’m not an egg person so I don’t remember what it was). But the Canadian bacon looked great, so I’ll get that next time. She enjoyed her meal and loved the potatoes. She said there was some onion in them and most places don’t do that anymore.

The hostess was very nice and accommodating. Our server was great. He came by with the coffee pot asking if I wanted a refill. He stopped by the table a couple times to be sure everything was ok. Great service overall.

“We enjoyed our first experience here recently. Philly cheesesteak and poutine were both excellent but buffalo chicken sandwich was good as well. Good variety of craft beers and cocktails. Staff and patrons both really nice. Only 2.5 TV’s but a good alternative to downtown craziness if you want to catch a game. We’ll be back!!“

“What a fantastic experience. The staff were fabulous and the food was delicious. Be sure to get their Parker House rolls. The wine menu was extensive and bar staff were helpful with selections. If you are staying at Hotel Vermont, it is right next door. Highly recommend for dinner and drinks.“

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. I cannot recommend highly enough. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed!“

“This review is long overdue. Visited the last week of June. We stopped into Burlington Bay while trying to escape a surprise downpour and I’m glad we did!

We only had a few minutes, so we ordered fries, and WOW… the portion was huge! They were delicious, and the team was friendly. Definitely a great spot to grab lunch if you’re in downtown Burlington.

“My husband and I tried the Guild the other night to celebrate my birthday and had an incredible meal. We ordered drinks, the Steak Tartare, rolls, the filet minion special, the ribeye and finished it off with orange crème brûlée and the Guild sundae. Everything was perfection, the wait staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I just cannot say enough good things about this experience. Highly recommend.“

The waitress caught it and had the cook recook mine and my dates meals all over again. The namager actually came to our table to explain the situation and apologized for the mistake. “Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“

I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“
