Staff and patrons both really nice. Only 2.5 TV’s but a good alternative to downtown craziness if you want to catch a game. We’ll be back!!“

“I had a great patty melt with good fries. This place is a little divey in the best ways and generally full of locals at the bar. It's comfortable, has a good pool table, has buck hunt (!!), and they make good well Margs. Plus the Patio is in an awesome spot when it’s a nice day out. If you are in Winooski I'd suggest adding it to the rotation“

“What a fantastic experience. The staff were fabulous and the food was delicious. Be sure to get their Parker House rolls. The wine menu was extensive and bar staff were helpful with selections. If you are staying at Hotel Vermont, it is right next door. Highly recommend for dinner and drinks.“

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. “Got the Thai chicken on curry and cheesesteak on white. Both big and tasty, but 2/3 of the Thai was rice and 2/3 of the cheesesteak was filled with lettuce. Curry wrap was good! If there was a little more protein in each and chicken wasn’t bland I’d go 5 star. Still a solid lunch spot.“

“Visiting my childhood hometown from out of state and went for lunch with an old friend. The service was quick, kind, and very attentive, and took care with my numerous allergies. The food was good and I came back to try the flourless chocolate cake!

The patio is nice but near a busy intersection. I preferred sitting inside to chat with my friend, but outside alone was fine.“

“My husband and I tried the Guild the other night to celebrate my birthday and had an incredible meal. We ordered drinks, the Steak Tartare, rolls, the filet minion special, the ribeye and finished it off with orange crème brûlée and the Guild sundae. Everything was perfection, the wait staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I just cannot say enough good things about this experience. Highly recommend.“

The waitress caught it and had the cook recook mine and my dates meals all over again. The namager actually came to our table to explain the situation and apologized for the mistake. Owning the mistake was a huge deal for my date and I. Much appreciated for sure. That screams how well these folks at this Williston Vermont location care about their customers. “Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“

“I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“
