“Five stars. Our family's happy place.
We've been coming here long enough that the staff greet us like neighbors - and that warmth is half the reason we keep coming back. The other half is the food, which is consistently some of the most flavorful cooking in the area.
My personal standout is the Vegan Panang Curry, currently on the menu and absolutely not to be missed. It's rich, deeply spiced, and genuinely one of the best dishes I've had anywhere - not just at a Thai restaurant, but anywhere full stop. The vegetables are vibrant and perfectly cooked, and the sauce has that layered complexity you just don't find everywhere.
One honest heads-up: seating is limited and it's first-come, first-served, so there can be a wait. We've never once regretted staying. Once the food arrives, the wait becomes a distant memory.
If you haven't been, go. If you have, you already know.“

“Everything about our experience was a delight. They were so welcoming and personable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was fresh and delicious. It’s wonderful to see new exciting food choices in Winooski. The owners were so sweet and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I want to have a great dining experience“

“My wife and I tried this place, thinking about lunch. To our surprise, it’s really a breakfast/brunch place. I had the Kahlua French toast, which was fantastic. It was light and fluffy, grilled to perfection. The sausage links on the side were disappointing. It seemed they came from a box of frozen sausage links and they just heated them up. My wife had an eggs dish (sorry, I’m not an egg person so I don’t remember what it was). But the Canadian bacon looked great, so I’ll get that next time. She enjoyed her meal and loved the potatoes. She said there was some onion in them and most places don’t do that anymore.
The hostess was very nice and accommodating. Our server was great. He came by with the coffee pot asking if I wanted a refill. He stopped by the table a couple times to be sure everything was ok. Great service overall.

“We enjoyed our first experience here recently. Philly cheesesteak and poutine were both excellent but buffalo chicken sandwich was good as well. Good variety of craft beers and cocktails. Staff and patrons both really nice. Only 2.5 TV’s but a good alternative to downtown craziness if you want to catch a game. We’ll be back!!“

“What a fantastic experience. The staff were fabulous and the food was delicious. Be sure to get their Parker House rolls. The wine menu was extensive and bar staff were helpful with selections. If you are staying at Hotel Vermont, it is right next door. Highly recommend for dinner and drinks.“

“We made reservations for our large group ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making recommendations from the menu. The food was all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal. About half of our group hadn’t had Indian food before but they all left as fans! The waiter was able to easily guide the vegan in our group to a variety options for him. We all enjoyed tea and a sweet at the end. We are so glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be back!“

“We had the mobile pizza oven, antipasti boards, appetizers and dessert served at our wedding this fall.
Sara was professional, responsive and easy to work with. She ensured that all our requests were heard and accounted for. She answered all of our many questions promptly and thoroughly throughout the year leading up to the wedding.
At the wedding, the food was delicious: our gluten free and vegan guests were very happy, and the buffet ran smoothly without any wait for our hungry guests.
Highly recommend for a wedding or any event!“

“This is definitely the BPOE. Best Pizza On Earth. Our server Orson was a real friendly feller. I got the Power to the People Pizza and more than loved it. Eating here was ecstasy. Buffalo sauce drenched chicken jumbled with tomato sauce and blue cheese, and a delicious crust, dipped in zesty ranch. Heavenly.“

“We found Zaytoona by chance, as it was near our hotel in South Burlington. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent! We had three meals out in Burlington over our weekend, and this one was the best! Get the word out: This restaurant is a GEM hidden near the South Burlington Library andTown Hall. Note to restaurant: You guys should change your sign so your name is easy to see from a distance. Loved our evening, we’ll be back! Thank you!“

“We have a friend that is seriously ill and we wanted a very special meal for he and his wife prepared and delivered to their home. The manager and staff arrived at work early to make it happen and would not accept a fee for delivery. They went beyond their duties and provided a marvelous meal for our friends. What beautiful hearts and souls they have. We thank you all so very much for your great meals and service.“

“I had an extremely delicious Reuben. It was made fresh and the staff are extremely knowledgeable on veg/vegan. The seitan and cheese were made in-house and you can tell. The seitan was the best texture I’ve ever had it! The salad/hot bar opens around 11/11:30a so I was a little early for it, but I hope to try it while I’m here. Top notch mango lassi. Mango and yogurt combination was top tier.
Chicken Korma was less on the sweetness, different than our local place back home, but I actually prefer the one here. Flavor was wonderful and hit all the rights spots.
Tandoori chicken was a huge portion and we ended up taking home leftovers enough to be another meal!

“Got the Thai chicken on curry and cheesesteak on white. Both big and tasty, but 2/3 of the Thai was rice and 2/3 of the cheesesteak was filled with lettuce. Curry wrap was good! If there was a little more protein in each and chicken wasn’t bland I’d go 5 star. Still a solid lunch spot.“
