“Sneakers Bistro was one of those places that immediately made an impression. After my first meal, I knew I couldn’t leave Vermont without coming back a second time.

My first visit was for the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and a freshly brewed coffee. The chicken portion was generous, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Paired with the house gravy and Vermont maple syrup, it created an incredible sweet-and-savory combination that I couldn’t get enough of. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it might honestly be the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had.

The second time, I ordered the veggie hash with an English muffin and a Vermont maple latte. The hash was loaded with fresh ingredients and delivered a colorful, vibrant mix of flavors that made every bite enjoyable. The maple latte was the perfect addition and a great local touch.

What impressed me just as much as the food was how smoothly everything ran. The waitlist process was efficient, the service was friendly and attentive, and the entire dining experience felt well organized from start to finish.

Between the outstanding food, excellent coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and great service, Sneakers Bistro was one of the highlights of my Vermont trip. If you’re visiting Winooski, do yourself a favor and make a stop here. Highly recommend.“

“What a fantastic experience. The staff were fabulous and the food was delicious. Be sure to get their Parker House rolls. The wine menu was extensive and bar staff were helpful with selections. If you are staying at Hotel Vermont, it is right next door. Highly recommend for dinner and drinks.“

We ordered drinks, the Steak Tartare, rolls, the filet minion special, the ribeye and finished it off with orange crème brûlée and the Guild sundae. “I cannot say enough good things about Bevo. I never once had to worry about a thing. Kathleen and her staff thought of everything. From our first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Kathleen was so helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process and offered tons of ideas for things we hadn't even thought of. We were able to create our own menu (build your own tacos as well as a mac and cheese bar) and Kathleen offered excellent suggestions of things to go with it. You name it, and Bevo can do it. Leading up the the wedding, Kathleen was great about checking in and seeing if we needed help with anything. The day of the wedding was wonderful. The entire Bevo staff was kind, attentive and incredibly professional. The chefs out-did themselves, we are still getting compliments from our guests about the delicious food and the abundance of it. Throughout the evening, the staff would bring my wife and I water, reminding us to stay hydrated. They were all so sweet and everything went so smoothly. At the end of the evening, they provided us with two large bags full of food for us to take home, which was a real life saver the next few days with all our family in town. Between the delicious food, and the wonderful staff, we will be recommending Bevo to everyone we see. They are without a doubt the best catering company!“

“Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“
