“I researched our area for a tasting menu, my favourite way to enjoy dinner out. The Lincoln Inn 7course tasting menu was outstanding. Each plate was beautifully crafted and creative. The food was delicious. Because we don’t drink alcohol we enjoyed the non-alcoholic drink pairings in lieu of the wine parings. I recently visited a Michelin star rated restaurant in San Francisco and the chef at the Lincoln in outdid that menu in spades. I can’t wait to return when we don’t have to drive home in a blizzard. ?“
“Today was our first time experiencing cloudland farms exclusive farm to table meal that was so peaceful. This was quintessential to northern New England and it's culture and history of farming. The flavors are unique to farm to table eating. If you know, you know! Our server Meg, who is a part of the family that has owned the farm since 1908, who gave an awesome description and history of the farm itself and was a pleasure to chat with. We can't wait to go back and sit by the fireplace on a cold winter night. Thanks to all the staff. Cheers!“
“Rooms: Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Quechee gorge is a great place to visit. Walking trails and a variety of little shops. Restaurants close by the gorge too. It is an expensive area but beautiful. Lots of different shops and restaurants in Woodstock near the green. Also a theater with different acts, plays, music etc.“
“We are never disappointed at the Prince & Pauper. The food is superb, the service is impeccable, and the building has the great old New England feel to it. We dined there last night, and our meals were delicious as always. Our server was attentive and always there when we needed her. All the staff go above and beyond, both the back and front of the house. We appreciate all everyone does to give us such a great experience.“
“This is the best place to eat in Woodstock! The service is exceptional, the food so very good and you can actually have a conversation at your table and hear the responses! Kenmar was so professional and provided top notch service. We are locals so familiar with many restaurants in the area. The Richardson Tavern provides the best experience and ambiance.“
“Sorry I can't comment about the restaurant because we went to this Simon Pearce location just to watch the glass blowers. What an amazing experience. The showroom is on the main level and the quality of craftsmanship was incredible. Honestly, these pictures don't do it justice. The glassblowing area is just down the stairs. You are literally 10 feet away from the action. What amazing skill these artists have. We were able to chat with them and they were more than willing to share their knowledge about their craft. Highly recommend going to watch these artisans at work!“
“We stayed at the Inn for a couple of nights and made a reservation well in advance for dinner. It was fantastic. One of the best pizzas that we have ever had. Wine and dessert were delicious as well. The service was excellent! Heads up…. They will automatically add a 20% tip to your check. It’s a very cozy atmosphere.“
“This was definitely a good choice for us! The food was absolutely amazing and the chocolate lava cake was wayyyy to good. Our server, Ilena B. was so sweet and nice, very friendly and was right on top of things without being in our faces all the time. We enjoyed talking to a Buckeye fan! O-H… she knows what’s next! 5 stars for everyone and the food and service. Everyone was pleasant! Thank you for making our trip from Ohio great. Deana and Melony“
“Chicken Carlo was good. Large portions. Came with fries and half of a fried chicken. Chicken was delicious and juicy but the fries were overcooked. My wife had spinach and black bean lasagna it was overcooked and dry out crispy and not tasty. Should have sent it back but it was long in waiting to be served. Portions was small.“
“This hotel is duper special, in a very unique location and great rooms. We loved the area, the pond right next to it, the restaurant and the local store, they made our experience so special! The only little downsides I want to mention are:1. There is no coffee machine or pot in the room, so if you are in a mood for coffee in the afternoon - it’s not an option.2. No one actually welcomes you to the hotel, you get the passcode for the door via email and enter by yourself. For me it was a little disappointing but maybe it’s just me.But overall, the room was great, very clean and spacious and we loved the whole experience.Nearby activities: Only 8 minutes drive from woodstock“
“Our lunch at the Red Rooster was wonderful. The garden greens topped with grilled salmon was delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the maple vinaigrette dressing complemented the salad beautifully. My husband likes trying unique menu options and he enjoyed the duck tacos. Samantha was the perfect server - friendly and very competent in her job. Her service was prompt with frequent returns to our table to inquire if everything was satisfactory. Be prepared that lunch for two which includes a first plate, entree, a dessert and one bar beverage per person will probably be above $100 before the gratuity but we felt that our lovely experience was worth the expense.“
