“A nicely appointed dining room and well presented entrees. A shareable selection of four cheeses from local Vermont creameries is a good introduction to local product. Efficient, professional and friendly wait staff.”
“Did not stay at Inn.Food & drinks: We only went for dinner, which was an experience! Mara was so charming explaining each dish with such enthusiasm, we couldn't wait to try each dish! Chef is so artistic with food and flavors and we ate food we would never have found around our location. Highly recommend.”
“Great little place to grab a bite to eat when you’re in Woodstock after a ski day. Menu has some interesting variety. I got the poke bowl with ahi tuna and it was so fresh and flavorful! Good vibes, good food, can’t go wrong.”
“Had a couple cocktails and lunch. Somewhat limited menu but what we did have was good. The coffee selection was pretty robust and has some pastry selections. Not exactly apres ski but a nice place for a relaxing bite.”
“This has quickly become my very favorite coffee spot because of the outstanding espresso, fantastic baristas, and woodsy atmosphere. Every time I come, I am completely blown away by the high-quality espresso. Their cappuccino is 10/10!I HIGHLY recommend this spot for anyone coming to the area or even if it's a little out of the way (I drive 20 miles to get this coffee).Dietary restrictions: They have alternative milk options to add to their drinks and the quality stays just as good!Parking: There is a free, gravel parking lot with space for about 20 cars.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a little ramp to enter the door, and most of the tables are at wheelchair height.”
“Remember - this is a diner. As a diner, it is excellent. We have been fans ever since they were in downtown Woodstock. The desserts and ice cream are excellent, as they have always been. Service is fast and friendly.”
“The Vermont Maple Cremee is a little soft serve treat you can find in a lot of places, but this was the only place I found a maple + pumpkin spice swirl!! It was everything i imagined. They also added maple sprinkles!!! Gaaahhhh. I was in Heaven. Of the many cremees I had while in VT, this was one of the best and certainly one of the most unique. Spoke w the owner for a bit, and he was working hard cleaning up the space. Kind gentleman and friendly staff.”
“Best filet I have ever had. Period! Cooked perfectly, the coffee and chili seasoning made the excellent cuts of beef super flavorful. Pork shank fell off the bone. We started with empanadas, garlic shrimp (amazing thick sauce!), and plantains & guacamole - great start. Finished with key lime pie and creamy flan. We had dined at Melaza 4 years ago, just before the pandemic. So glad we had the chance to return and look forward to the next time! Thank you, Chef!”
“The best!! Been enjoying takeout for four year. Finally here to enjoy fresh at the table. Amazing!! Take out pretty darn close to fresh. Love, love the noodles and my favorite dish is the Crispy chicken. Never disappointed.”
“Absolutely fantastic experience. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. We had the crab cakes and the filet mignon, with the chocolate cake to top it off. Will definitely be making another visit soon. Thank you!”
“App was outstanding and the meals were fantastic. Server was top notch. A little dark in the room (hard to read the menu) and it was a little loud. Overall one of the best meals in a while.”
“Perfect 5 stars for Veggie Pizza..it was absolutely fantastic..Also, service was top notch..!!As it was only to go available when we visited, can't really comment on atmosphere, but based on what I saw, it looked pretty decent..Vegetarian options: My wife and I both are vegetarian and we found this place while we were there in Woodstock. Veggie Pizza and both Sweet potato and regular potato fries are highly recommended for vegetarian..”
“Convenient gas station on the main route through Woodstock Vt. Large selection of foods for snacking or a quick meal, lots of different beverage choices, from water to wine.Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly large parking area for a gas station. Handicap parking and access right in front of the store”
“The food is amazing the staff are lovely vickey is amazing I fond a couple hairs in my food she got me a new one a picked up the whole 150+ dollar bill for me and my family truly a amazing place.”
“We were planning to go to Simon Pearce to purchase a gift for a friend and decided to have lunch at the restaurant. We're so glad we did ... what a treat! We had the crab cakes appetizer ... probably the best crab cakes we ever had! My husband had the delicious Crispy Sesame Chicken, and I had Shepherd's Pie, which was generous enough to take some home to enjoy for another lunch. We definitely recommend the Simon Pearce Restaurant and making a reservation. We observed that the restaurant was quite busy for a Friday lunch.”
“Long trail brewery and pub is a great place for a visit. Kid friendly, great food and beer. The burger was delish and cooked perfectly. The ham and cheddar panni was lovely. We will be back!”
“You might drive past this place, as the outside doesn't really exude curb appeal...but that would be a mistake.Inside you'll find a warm welcome from people who know their comfort food inside out, and genuinely want you to enjoy your food. I only had breakfast, which was delivered fast and fresh, with hot coffee, but I'll be back for lunch or dinner, next time I'm in the area.”
“Highly recommend traveling Route 4 in Vermont to The Public House Pub in Quechee. Service was excellent, family atmosphere with live music. Everyone is treated as a friend. The owner made sure we enjoyed everything, and shared the story of he and his partners inception of the restaurant and showed us his book of building this incredible establishment. My wife had the maple bacon brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and the maple bacon cheddar burger, I had some buffalo wings which were enormous, not the dinky ones you usually get, and I too had the Maple bacon cheddar burger. To finish our meal we split a maple cheese cake slice, which was delicious. When in Vermont you must try all things maple.”
“Great brewery and food. Always stop here on our way up Vermont. Good indoor seating and they have cool outdoor huts during the winter. Able to sample most of their beers and they have a store you can buy any of the ones you enjoy, along with other apparel. Food is always pretty good, nice comfort style and filling, the Vermonter is a favorite of mine. They also sometimes have a band playing.”
“What a cool spot! We stopped in for breakfast burritos before hitting the road. We were greeted promptly at the window & received our burritos freshly made to order within minutes! Takeout only at this time so we enjoyed them in the car. Just delicious with really good sausage (not the frozen link kind!!). Would definitely recommend.”
“so we have been driving by for years and finally timing worked to stop. I love a crepe. anyway...... once you get past the weirdness of ordering and understanding the flow; the food that comes out is INSANE. I had the Noah's ark and my husband had the breakfast Sammy. it is by far one of my favorite breakfasts and my husband said the best breakfast sandwich he has ever had. the last one he had that took that spot was years ago at a diner that we have never found again by mystic. bacon comes EXACTLY as you order. eggs perfectly prepared for each requested type home fries= flawless. service was super helpful and kind. we made a mistake on the bread types and they remade my husband's ENTIRE plate. classy behavior”
“Go and ask for April! We came in and found out that our Airbnb had caught on fire… she was amazing through the whole thing. Fantastic service, funny and hooked us up with extra pizza. We love April!!!!”
“As a local, it was hard to believe this place could be so good since we had never heard about it and it is in the middle of nowhere! Went for a friend's birthday dinner and, wow, what a treat! It is in several small rooms of a very old house that used to be an inn. The eclectic atmosphere and historic ambiance made for a warm and homey vibe. You need to make reservations because seating and parking are limited. We sat at the bar, which seats 6, where Heidi took great care of us. What a sweetheart! The drinks were amazing, and the food was top-notch, local, fresh, everything made from scratch!! This means it takes a little longer to prepare, and it was pricey but well worth it for a special occasion. We will definitely be back! It is family-owned, and everyone, even the chef, interacted with the guests - you can feel the family ties here. These folks have a very special thing going on, and it is working, and apparently, has been for many years. It didn't appear that the building was wheelchair accessible and the bathrooms were up very narrow stairs on the 2nd and 3rd floors, so if you have mobility issues, this may not work for you.Parking: We parked in the church parking lot next door.”
“Good selection of food. Pasta, pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, etc.For the first time in my life I had pizza with corn on it. It lends an interesting pop of creamy sweet flavor to the tomato sauce. It's an interesting combination. It wasn't really greasy like some pizza. One side of the dining area serves as a bar with rustic seating and there's even a gondola booth.”
“The beer is excellent, the service is great, the location is fantastic with everything around it and the fries are the best I’ve ever had.Wish there was more merch and they had longer hours just so I could enjoy it more.”
“Great place to wnjoy delicious food after Killington ski/nowboarding. They have hot fresh food and drinks available. Fillet mignon is $53 and it’s amazing. Home made food and very friendly stuff. Spend 40 driving minutes from Killington and enjoy this amazing place.”
“Quite Good. Went with my family not long ago. I enjoyed all aspects of the experience, with the ambiance sticking out most and best. The home fries are delicious.”
“The spring rolls are probably the best I've had in a long time, and I really appreciate that they have vegan options, because there isn't a lot of vegan food options in the Windsor area. Delicious sesame tofu.”
“Love this place. Fantastic food, wine and service. Love the modern feel. Tapas plates are larger than expected. Favorite place in Woodstock, progressive owner and it ”
