Richardson’s Tavern Reviews
Stopped by for drinks and dessert. “Peach mojito” was great. Our bartender Robby was very polite. Nice atmosphere.
The duck and the maple cake were two of the best things I've had to eat in a very long time! The service was great as well. My only complaint was the restaurant was pretty dark and the table lights were quite dull.
THey need to get back to their origins with well prepared versions of New England bar food. The burger is still good, but it's now lamb rather than beef. Dishes are fancier but not as well prepared.

Richardson's Tavern, located inside the Inn, offers a cozy and festive atmosphere for a delightful meal. The menu features a range of tempting dishes, including ricotta with pecans, burgers, Hanger Steak, and desserts like candied pecan ice cream. The Crafted Cocktails, such as the Vodka-based Collins and the special Sera Rosso, are highly praised. The staff provides a warm and welcoming experience, and the environment feels intimate, like visiting a friend. The menu includes intriguing sharing dishes, and the food is delicious, such as the Rib Eye, cracked potatoes, brown butter parsnips, and Parker house rolls. The waitstaff is helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The wine list is excellent, with a nicely curated collection across varietals and price points. Dishes like the smoked duck breast, crispy pork shoulder, and charred cabbage with butter beans are standout and beautifully presented. Overall, Richardson's Tavern provides a great dining experience with professional staff and reasonably priced, inventive, and tasty food.
