“We had the most amazing private dining experience here! The club had donated a dinner for eight at a fund raiser & we were blown away. Chef Alex prepared a 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings by Patrick and I was just shocked at how good it all was. I have been a member of the Whiteface Club for 22 years and seen lots of chefs come and go, but after having seen what Alex is capable of, I have very high hopes. It was all proper 'fine dining' thoughtfully presented, perfectly prepared and delectable. The everyday fare at the Cafe on the Green on the Mooselodge Boathouse is more basic to be sure, but the fact that they are able to turn out this level of quality, speaks volumes about where we might headed. You can count on top notch food for your wedding or private event at the Whiteface Club.“

“Location is prime…decor is cosy and clean. Food is delicious…we eat steaks, pastas, seafood, appetizer’s, desserts, we had drinks, all the food and drinks were delicious. We were e party of seven and unanimously agreed, food and service was amazing. The staff are amazing, super polite always smiling and always right next to you if you if you need them. This is our place to go to, every time we come to Lake Placid. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owners. You are the best!!!“

“My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon dinner. The prime rib was excellent, and my wife had a NY strip that was grilled to perfection. We ended it if two Irish coffees. The even took the time to make one decaf for my wife. Great job!“
