The food was the best in Lake Placid. My family and I ate there 3 nights in a row it was so good. I had the Lomo Saltado a Peruvian specialty 3 nights in a row and it tasted better each time. My wife had the home made Peruvian Empanadas and loved them. The addition of the homemade Peruvian sauce was excellent. I also had Cazuena the Peruvian cerveza for the first time and it tasted great. If you are looking for excellent Peruvian food at a good price you are for a treat. Enjoy!!
Food was delicious! Server explained all of the Peruvian dishes in detail and made recommendations. Will return, for sure, if we get to Lake Placid again!

Sol de Oro Sports Bar & Grill serves great food with awesome flavor. The restaurant has something for everyone, including a good kids menu, traditional American food, and Peruvian fare. The Peruvian food is delicious and authentic, with dishes like empanadas, tallarín saltado, Lomo Saltado, and Chaufa. The plantains are also a must-try. The restaurant has excellent and attentive service, and polite staff. The cocktails, such as the fresita margarita and Pico sour, are super delicious. Overall, Sol de Oro Sports Bar & Grill is a great place to eat, with great vibes and a welcome change from usual food options.
