“Walked in to watch the Bruins game while on vacation. Sat at the bar & the bartender immediately put it on for us. Ordered some wings & drinks. The wings were amazing. Bartender was definitely hustling around like crazy & we were saying what a hardworker she was only to find out she owns it with her husband. We will definitely be back.“
“Great food (Peruvian and American), attentive service, nice drink selections, perfect location. I've been to Lake Placid a number of times and passed this place by, now it will be one of my go-to choices in town. The ceviche entree was amazing, a large piece of whitefish (cut up into small pieces) with some Peruvian corn and plantain chips. I've had several different kinds of ceviche over the years, but usually as an appetizer. This was different, and I was happy to make a whole meal of it. The other Peruvian dishes looked good on the menu, so I'll have to return to try some of those. The more traditional bar food looked and smelled delicious as it walked by me, but I didn't try any. They had several beers on tap, including Miracle on Ice ale (how could they not have it, given the location?). And when I saw Pisco sour (a traditional Peruvian/South American drink) as a drink option on the chalkboard, I had to try one. This is an excellent choice for a meal or snack before or after a hockey game, as it's right across the street from both Olympic rinks (and they're aware of the significance of those sites, and they knew who'd won the game I'd just watched before I came in the door).“
