Matt and Shante’ were amazing!! My group ordered a lot and all food was fresh and great. I had a veggie flatbread and bartender Shante’ made new great drink. Our first time here and we will be back when we visit lake placid again.
Amazing experience, perfect food and very tasty. Good atmosphere including service, especially Shante, she’s a great server and very kind and funny. Me and my family would love to come again.

Haystack Bar & Bistro is located inside a hotel lobby, giving it a slightly impersonal feel. However, this didn't deter the diners who found the service prompt and friendly. The menu isn't extensive, but there are tasty options like the chicken breast and brussels sprouts. The food is delicious, and the waitstaff is attentive. Even non-guests can enjoy a meal here. Special appreciation was given to the food and beverage manager, Jeff, for his excellent care and attention to detail.
