“Not sure why this place has any negative reviews, we loved it! Bartenders were super friendly from the moment we walked in, offering us samples of a variety of beers as first time customers. Food was excellent, prices were reasonable, and atmosphere was warm. We had the poutine, the barbacoa grinder, and the jalapeno cheddar soup. Cute little merch store right outside. Would recommend to any Lake Placid visitor.“

“The food is fantastic at Big Slide. I also love the atmosphere. It feels like I'm eating and drinking at a boutique microbrew in the western mountains of CO. Their team always does a great job, and I recommend the experience to anyone visiting the village of Lake Placid!“
