“My new warm weather drink is a frozen hot chocolate the way I order it a frozen hot chocolate with 3 pumps or shots of certain flovoring, French vanilla, Irish cream, or Raspberry, what I don't like is the extra chocolate that they add to the inside of the cup it takes away the flavor of the shots that I asked for, and if prices keep going up, I might not be able to afford going there anymore otherwise I really enjoy going there“

“My absolute favorite donut place in Plattsburgh. We drive from Montreal to Plattsburgh just for the donuts. All the crème donuts are the best, so are their Boston cream. We love their siganture iced lattes with seasonal flavors. The service is always great at this location. The ladies are so sweet and welcome you with a nice smile.“

While other shops specialize in getting drinks out and getting customers out of the door, Chapter One is an inviting space that welcomes everyone and you can't help but want to linger a while to slow down and enjoy your drinks/food.The baristas are top notch. They are always warm and inviting and its noticeable the effort they take to remember regulars preferences and taking their time with new customers.The space is ideal for deep work with tables to sit at, or comfortable couches and chairs to lounge in and visit with friends and family. The walls are adorned with local artwork in addition to hosting markets on occasion for local vendors to sell their wares. Management works with local businesses to provide customers with food options, ex: breakfast wraps. The Owner/Manager is always serving up new drink specials with the season. They create a sense of community with their different events from book club meetings, hosting workshops and seminars, raising money for charity and other special events. All this being said, Chapter One fosters a sense of community in this third space.“
