“Koffee Kat is an amazing and integral space to the downtown Plattsburgh area. Well priced for specialized drinks and food, sociable staff, and the environment is something we're missing these days; a "third place". The shop spotlights local artisans and sells their goods, there are plenty of activities to do as well as events held all month long. There's music, never too loud or too annoying, and the lights are soft and easy on the eyes. If you're boycotting the large chain coffee shops, consider taking a trip down here and vote with your dollar.“
“Always choose local. Even when you’re new to the area.I found this small little gem on a low key day; where I found myself wanting a latte. I’ve been to 40 states and 10 counties. I’ve had amazing coffee, and… I’ve had the opposite. I would definitely give this establishment two thumbs up AND include my dogs as an additional 2 paws up. “Love the burgers they are unique and very well balanced flavors. The portions are very generous. The staff all seem very friendly and attentive. “Great employee served me today im not a fan of tapioca pearls i like the bubble tea with liquid flavor in the pearls but if you like tapioca pearls this is a perfect place for you. “My new warm weather drink is a frozen hot chocolate the way I order it a frozen hot chocolate with 3 pumps or shots of certain flovoring, French vanilla, Irish cream, or Raspberry, what I don't like is the extra chocolate that they add to the inside of the cup it takes away the flavor of the shots that I asked for, and if prices keep going up, I might not be able to afford going there anymore otherwise I really enjoy going there“
“First time in a long time that I went to the Dunkin on Route 3. It of course was a little bit of a wait since their drive thru is always busy but wasn't horrible. The lady at the window had great customer service and my Iced Latte was made perfectly! ?“
“first timer here: i’m sitting in your parking lot rn and i’m pleased you actually stirred my iced latte instead of giving me warm espresso on the bottom, syrup sticking to the edges of the cup, and cold milk on top. so many dunkin’ donuts do this and it drives me crazy. “My absolute favorite donut place in Plattsburgh. We drive from Montreal to Plattsburgh just for the donuts. All the crème donuts are the best, so are their Boston cream. We love their siganture iced lattes with seasonal flavors. The service is always great at this location. The ladies are so sweet and welcome you with a nice smile.“

Every time I go, they greet their customers by name, and always have a smile on their face.Some of them I know as friends and people in passing; others as people I’ve come to know and like as baristas.This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a business. Im no annoying yelp reviewer, and don’t set a very high standard. This place knocks it out of the park on everything. The training and environment is impeccable.I get the same thing almost every time, and the staff are always promoting or giving suggestions on different drinks and foods.100/10 would recommend?“

While other shops specialize in getting drinks out and getting customers out of the door, Chapter One is an inviting space that welcomes everyone and you can't help but want to linger a while to slow down and enjoy your drinks/food.The baristas are top notch. They are always warm and inviting and its noticeable the effort they take to remember regulars preferences and taking their time with new customers.The space is ideal for deep work with tables to sit at, or comfortable couches and chairs to lounge in and visit with friends and family. The walls are adorned with local artwork in addition to hosting markets on occasion for local vendors to sell their wares. Management works with local businesses to provide customers with food options, ex: breakfast wraps. The Owner/Manager is always serving up new drink specials with the season. They create a sense of community with their different events from book club meetings, hosting workshops and seminars, raising money for charity and other special events. All this being said, Chapter One fosters a sense of community in this third space.“
