We stopped at Mainely Lobster for Dinner while in Plattsburgh for appointments. Their atmosphere there is very warm & inviting. I had the seafood marinara, which had shrimp and scallops in it. My husband had fried haddock & oysters. They were both delicious. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our table.
This place is so good! They go to Maine twice a week to get the seafood fresh. The amount of seafood in each dish is surprising. It's definitely worth the price. It's reasonable as well. It is bring your own beer too.

I thought, “Can a seafood restaurant in Plattsburgh really be that good?” And then I ate here and found out wholeheartedly, YES. This is the best seafood I have had off of the Cape. Light breading, fried to perfection, not greasy. Get the Mother’s Chowdah- you won’t be disappointed!
