3/16/24 My first time at Anthony's. I was more impressed and more pleased with this experience all around than I've been in quite a few years and at a lot of different types of restaurants. All dishes at our table were superbly prepared and presented.Alex our waiter was fun, polite, very informative.I'm so glad it was too cold in Butcher Block to stay and we left for Anthony's !Parking: We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday and there was plenty of available parking

Great service and great food. We always stop there on our way to Canada. I love old school drinks and they never disappoint me there. They always have the ingredients and know how to make them. The drinks, the food, the staff, and the atmosphere is simply great. I recommend this place to everyone.

I think this should be labeled a French restaurant, there’s nothing really Italian on the menu. I was disappointed with my steak dinner, I wasn’t described the sides in detail. It’s my fault to not list a cinnamon allergy, however there’s no cinnamon in Italian food period. The filet was outstanding however I was only able to eat 30% of the plate. Also the broccoli had a Bernadine sauce on it, which wasn’t noted at all. I just wish the menu described the full dish so I would’ve chosen something different. Atmosphere was great and staff was incredibly friendly. Very nice place for a romantic dinner for 2.

We were a party of 8 in the main dining room!Javier was our server-he did a fabulous job! He kept the food and drink coming! We all had so much fun!! We always go to Anthony’s to celebrate special family events! We highly recommend them!

Had lunch the other day, waiter offered the daily special , haddock with potatoes and a small salad, never asked the price and the soup wasn’t included, for 2 people 2 daily specials and 1 bowl of south, cost over 75.00 plus the tip. Too expensive for lunch, they won’t see my face ever again! And the fish wasn’t anything to write home about.

Exquisite europeen style restaurant in Plattsburgh! An institution for many years, the place has remained a staple in the area for decades. Can't be beat. Staff are very professional, warm and cozy dining room Adirondack style, and last but not least the freshness of the ingredients and care in the plates are top notch. Venison loin in raspberry coulis sauce is a definite highlight. Hi Jeremy and Brenda!! Be back soon.

The best experience for people place and meal! Over the top welcoming after a late ferry ride on a friday evening and provided a perfect seat at the beautiful wood bar and had choice of meal from all menus! Jim bartender best in class in our opinion- cleanest glassware perfect mixed drink and wine recommendation. The caesar salad is not to be missed- share before main course along with warm rustic bread- its-exceptional! We enjoyed two nights there-braised boar medallions with rice base substitute for pasta and it was a perfect tender flavor velvet sauce delight- chicken breast another perfection three rolled up sliced with stuffing and savory sauce madeira demi glace with root veggies and then prior night pork scallopponi saltimbocca and pork dijonnaise- music perfect on bistro side the entire restaurant charming - what a treasure of a restaurant and people team! Thank you from grateful visitors to the area☀️

Came here for a team dinner, there were 8 of us total. The ambiance is quaint and cute. The Jade trees in the window are phenomenal.Bar couldn't make me a strawberry mojito, which is kind of odd for a more upscale place (this is my go to drink lol) We had to wait quite awhile for our drinks (20ish minutes) but the people who did order a cocktail were very pleased. I ordered a house salad as an appetizer, was not told that the olives were not pitted so I ended up hurting my tooth really badly on one of the pits. Ordered the filet for my dinner, you do not get to choose what sides you want. Figuring out what sides came with a dinner was like pulling teeth. When I asked the waitress she responded with "potatoes and vegetables"... I'm thinking, well that's pretty broad, what kind of vegetables? So apparently you get roasted carrots and green beans and a smashed potato ..No matter what you order (If it comes with sides). When my food came out all of it was cold, the steak, the vegetables, the sauce on top of the vegetables... Maybe just slightly above room temperature but definitely cold to the touch. The kitchen did fix this for me by heating everything up.From the time that we finished our dinner to the time that we were asked if we wanted to dessert was about 40 minutes. It was literally like we were just forgotten about, and there were not that many people in the restaurant so it was a little confusing while we were getting such little contact with our server.I ordered the tiramisu, unfortunately the lady fingers were completely dry, will post a picture. A good tyramisu should have the lady fingers quite soaked as this is what gives it most of the flavor. This was mostly like bread with pudding and cocoa powder. Unfortunately, the only really good thing that I experienced at this restaurant was the steak, and that was after it was heated up again. I'm not certain I would come back. For these prices, I just expect a little better.
