Excellent service and great prices. We each had a calzone and they came out quick and were delicious. Really incredible house made dipping sauce. 5$ pints of draft. Already looking forward to coming back to try the pizza. Lots of parking and super close to the highway.

went to Big Sal's for the first time today. it will definitely be added as a favorite place to eat can't wait to go back. the food was amazing and the service was great. serving sizes were huge. you can easily feed 2 or more people from one order. only disappointment was they ran out of eggplant. will be my go to order next time.
I ordered a large tossed salad and large white pizza via delivery from Big Sal's pizzeria and restaurant at 5:34pm on Sunday September 1st. It arrived at 6:15. Upon opening the salad i was super disappointed at the lack of for a $20 salad. I called the shop back at 6:18 to ensure there was no mistake in the size sent. She claimed the cook sent out a large but they could send another out and of course needed the other back. No harm no foul. (I am 2 miles from Sals) At 6:58 I phoned the shop back and asked to speak with Sassine. They were busy so the girl said he most likely wouldn’t speak with me. I assured her it was no issue just give him my name and number and whenever he is free to give me a call. At this time I tell her I’ll just give the salad back when the driver arrives and just wanted to be reimbursed at this point. She places me on hold. While on hold the very sweet young man arrived with the makeup salad. While still on hold I explain to him the situation. I opened the salad up and showed him, to which he agreed it looked on the small side. The girl at this point comes back to the phone. She asks to speak with the driver and then she places Sassine on the line. The driver seemed uneasy when speaking with Sassine and when the kid tried to explain he was immediately shut down. After he concludes the call he says “Sassine says to keep both of the salads and to never order from here again!” This poor kid! The owner downright refused to speak with me and then has a high school driver tell me this!! I gave both the salads back and told the kid to keep the $20 as he earned it. I’m appalled to say the least and if this is how he runs his business and treats his employees I’m not quite sure how he stays in business. Shame on him! I always support my local small businesses before all else and am willing to spend a little more to do so. This isn’t a business my values align with.
The pasta is awesome, pizza very good and the wings are excellent.

Stopped in on our way to Vermont on a busy Mother’s Day. Friendly and prompt service. Good draft beer selection- Blue Light. We got chicken and veal parm. It’s a lot of food with the salad, bread roll (enough for 2), and main course of the parm with the large good side of pasta. We also got the cheesy garlic bread not realizing our meals came with bread. It was AMAZING. The marinara was served hot and it was delicious. Cozy atmosphere in a beautiful area.

I usually like the food at Big Sal's, but I just ordered the Italian sausage hot sub to try it and asked for the marinara on the side, and it was not good, to say the least. My first issue was the sausage, why was it cut into slices for a sub? Just cut a few in half and slap them in there instead. My second issue was the marinara was still put on the sandwich after it was repeated multiple times that I wanted it on the side, it made my sandwich soggy and mushy. It felt like I was eating bread mush with some sausage pieces mixed in. Worst food I've had there in a while.

Best Italian food in Plattsburgh from pizza to burgers. I have never had a bad meal and always ample for the price. I have dined in, takeout and delivery. Everything was always hot and tasty chicken parm was made from real no store bought chicken patties here, Great Lassana, Spaghetti. Ziti.

My favorite pizza and Stromboli. My family is from Canada and we make trips just to get some of their pizza. I was there on Wednesday, February 28th (my birthday) and had a delicious lunch and received excellent service from our waitress. She was attentive, polite, and courteous without being overwhelming.

My go to for a great pizza. Don't know what the hype is about the other noted establishments in town. Tried both once. That was enough. Stuck with Sal's
