Chapter One made us feel like home while we were visiting for a few months from across the US. Now that we are no longer in the area we miss this spot like crazy! If you are looking for delicious beverages and snacks (try the maple cream cold brew and pumpkin bread) and some welcoming vibes, this is the spot!

Didn't get much here, but the coffee and the cookie were good. I really liked their merch. Lots to pick from with stickers and handmade fingerboards and mugs etc. the art on the walls that was for sale was not to my taste and personally I don't think that it was all that well executed, but it didn't ruin the experience for me. They had a really good selection of books in the back. It's right next to a Plattsburgh monument that you should go check out as well.

Stopped here for coffee before we headed back to Canada and are so happy we did!
The lattes were delicious as well as the breakfast sandwiches.
Service was phenomenal, location was clean.
They have a dog of fame wall- if you have your pet with you they’ll take a picture and add it to the wall which was awesome.
Great seating areas, clean bathroom and near the back they had board games!

Coffee and art are great.I and my family were there for the battle of plattsburgh and the place was packed. Only problem is the couple chain smoking outside. I commented that it wasn't allowed in front of a building in the city and was informed they are a problem a lot but they are not told to leave. So we did.

Great selection of coffee/pastries and wonderful staff, but kind of hard to enjoy it when there are regulars that smoke cigarettes right outside the building and on the patio. The last thing I want to do while I’m trying to enjoy my morning coffee is smell stale cigarette smoke.
