Chapter One: Coffee & Tea

Great place to get authentic Brazilian coffee and best of all they have oat milk to make it vegan. The barista knows how to make a good coffee with right balance. They also have wifi and a cosy seating area. I had a vegan cappuccino and it was excellent. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on our way to Canada. The coffee was great, the food was subpar (we got the spinach baked good and pumpkins cake). The spinach puff was cold and very salty, the pumpkin cake was great but given to us in a bag (?).. there are no plates which is absurd. The space is great, large/high ceilings, but unfortunately not used. For a university town, I would expect more tables/couches, better music, and definitely more food (sandwiches, soups, pies etc). It has so much potential but management may need to change.

Unacceptable behavior shown on employee Darin/Nico based on a personal matter involving family he tried kicking and my grandmother out after ordering and paying for our coffee we did not say a word to him and was told he was “uncomfortable by our presence and that we needed to leave” I had said no because we were not doing anything wrong and we were paying costomers all this dreams for ordering coffee 🤦‍♀️

Best latte in town and amazing london fog. Were served by a passionate barista!

The atmosphere here is amazing. Egg nog latte is the best I've ever had! Lots of artisan purchases to consider also.

Chapter One made us feel like home while we were visiting for a few months from across the US. Now that we are no longer in the area we miss this spot like crazy! If you are looking for delicious beverages and snacks (try the maple cream cold brew and pumpkin bread) and some welcoming vibes, this is the spot!

Didn't get much here, but the coffee and the cookie were good. I really liked their merch. Lots to pick from with stickers and handmade fingerboards and mugs etc. the art on the walls that was for sale was not to my taste and personally I don't think that it was all that well executed, but it didn't ruin the experience for me. They had a really good selection of books in the back. It's right next to a Plattsburgh monument that you should go check out as well.

Stopped here for coffee before we headed back to Canada and are so happy we did!
The lattes were delicious as well as the breakfast sandwiches.
Service was phenomenal, location was clean.
They have a dog of fame wall- if you have your pet with you they’ll take a picture and add it to the wall which was awesome.
Great seating areas, clean bathroom and near the back they had board games!
