First, any review that is more than 60 days old is not for present location of Dana's. Comments more than 60 days old are about wait staff and condition of the restaurant at a different location. Long story, short - stick to the burgers and fries - comfort food and enjoy the view - which is very nice. Seafood is not prepared well and over priced.

Came in on a rainy evening with my family at 8pm and they close at 9pm. Got kids out in the rain cuz the sign said "OPEN". We were immediately turned back to the storm by the hostess since they were closed, even though the hours and glowing neon open sign indicated otherwise. At least turn the sign off if you're going to close early.

I really loved the food! I went with a large group and most of us were satisfied. They used imitation crab in one of their dishes. The seating we had was at a table facing the water, unfortunately the windows were very dirty with bugs in it. It kind of took away from the view. It was still a nice dining experience and the staff was nice from what I remember.

Top marks for location. Unbeatable.. The lake views are to die for. If at all u gotta go here.. It has to be for the views.. Food could be better. But I was not complaining at all.

Love Dana's Rusty Anchor. We stopped on Sunday and the brunch. It was good and kept fresh. My only disappointment was that there was nothing but Breakfast food other than lobster Bisque (which was delicious.) Our waitress Diana, was great and makes a mean Bloody Mary.

Best view in town!!! Food is good...especially the haddock sandwich. I find the staff well trained, polite and professional.
The service was extremely slow, vegatbles were cold and paying $7.00 for house wibe, should have gotten the bottle instead. Extremely disappointed. We drove about 75 miles as we are camping. Fairly sure we won't come back next visit. Waitress was pleasant.
