The restaurant is in a lovely spot overlooking the bay and framed by the mountains of Vermont. As a party of 6 we had 6 pm reservations that had to be made in person the day before because no one answered the phones. We were seated after 45 minutes waiting for a table to be bussed. We had to rearrange the tables ourselves to accommodate comfortable seating. There was a ceiling leak with a bucket catching the leaking drips in the dining area.
Dinner finally arrived at 8 o clock in a restaurant that had already emptied out. My hamburger (ordered medium rare} came out served on an English muffin burned and tough as a hockey puck. The tomato was limp and over ripe. Two entry’s were sold out in a very limited menu. A Rueben sandwich was burnt black on one side. There were only three servers, no bartender and no manager on site. I refused to pay for the hamburger which was honored. We were given chips to pay for one drink each to compensate us. The young waitress did the best she could. I will not be back.

Didn’t even get seated, just waited at the door and got neglected for 30 minutes while employees walked around us with barely anyone in the restaurant. Online menu was much bigger than the actual menu and the prices were very high. We didn’t get to try the food, we just ended up walking out before we were seated. Beautiful location it’s a shame.

This place is the real deal. A diamond in the rough. I just came back for their Sunday brunch. I ordered eggs Benedict on a crab cake. I am absolutely astounded this place isn’t packed with people. If you are anywhere in this area, come and try this place. The food is great, the views are great and the prices are more than reasonable.!!

Went for a benefit so don't know if the food was theirs and it was buffet style. That's why only 3 stars. It's a great setting. Will definitely go back for dinner.
I've eaten at Doc's several times in the past, and this is the first time I've been unhappy with my meal. I ordered a daily special - chicken "stuffed" with crab, covered with Newburgh sauce, with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. While it all tasted good, what I received was an appetizer, not a dinner. It was a crabcake sandwiched between two chicken tenders, with a 1/2 cup scoop of mashed potatoes and about the same amount of vegetables. In comparison, someone in my party had the fish and chips and received two good- sized pieces of haddock and about a pound of fries. I'll be back at she point, but I doubt I'll order one of the specials again.

Mediocre food. I ordered the Turkey Rachel thinking it would have real Turkey, instead had low quality lunch meat. Taking my first bite I bit into cheese paper (i'm telling myself), rolled up and gross. I told the waitress, she took the 1x1 piece of paper and didn't even offer to comp the sandwich. With so many awesome option on the water, I won't be going there again.

A lovely place to have dinner near the docks. Was peaceful, we enjoyed the view and the food that we ordered too! The pretzels with spicy honey was a great appetizer. We ordered the philly steak sandwich, the seafood casserole, the sirloin and the fish and chips. The fish could have had a bit more seasoning, but overall ok. Service was great though!

Decided to travel a little farther out of our local area for dinner tonight. And so glad we did! Food was superb! Our lobster fries were fantastic. House made Blue Cheese and Ranch for the win. Our server Monica was friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!
