I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits me. They are unsanitary, unsafe, and wait staff is rude (with some exceptions). They do not wear gloves when handling food, I saw a cook lick their fingers wipe them on her apron then served a salad to a customer. They had people work when water was comming down through the roof during a rain storm— the water was touching multiple electrical outlets and lights. They don’t care about their staff as they allowed multiple customers to harass their waitresses. All in all this location is not the place to go when visiting Plattsburgh.

This place has officially turned me off from ordering delivery AND ordering from these "local" pizza/Italian restaurants.
Pizza looked fine, but tasted like trash. No lie, I've had BETTER frozen pizza. Domino's and Pizza Hut make BETTER pizza. Whatever cheese they use looks and tastes fake. Doesn't melt, doesn't stay gooey and chewy. Bread tastes like a slightly better version of cardboard. Sauce was.. meh. Probably the best part of it, but nothing to write home about.
Ordered a simple TURKEY SUB and got sent a box of lettuce and cheese. What is this? Build your own sub day? Craziest part is, I call the restaurant and the dude says to me, "oh you were the DoorDash order? Yea I remember that order." What?! If you "remember" the order then why did you screw it up? The receipt is right. I even added a note saying "extra mayo" lol. The guy tells me they'll remake it, but of course it's 10 mins to close and even though I got a hold of DoorDash fast enough they did NOT offer the option for return delivery, so I had to take a refund.
All in all I still paid $28 (after taxes, fees, etc.) for a SMALL 1-topping pizza that tasted like a frozen pizza. Yay!!!
I really don't get how hard this is. Making food, at least GOOD food, these days is like rocket science. It's to the point where I don't want to pay for food from any restaurant unless the person making it has a culinary degree. For what half these restaurants charge for BASIC and CHEAP food, why not? It's the least we deserve. If you have the audacity to charge $16 for a plate of spaghetti then I expect the pasta to be made in-house daily, the sauce to be homemade with high quality ingredients and fresh produce, any meat used to be high grade and sourced locally, etc. But noooooo.... I'd bet anyone that 90% of their ingredients are bulk ordered. Barely nothing is made fresh or local. Frozen everything, that they just thaw out daily. Even the small cuts of turkey I saw in my "sub salad" looked like nothing more than cheap, bulk deli meat.

Excellent pizza and garlic bread! Our waitress was top notch. Place was clean. Very happy with everything. Highly recommend Giuseppe’s.
Fabulous Customer Service. Called from PA to have a sympathy meal delivered. Everything was perfect. They were very helpful even called back to verify everything was correct before delivery. Our grieving friends said the meal was terrific. Thank you Giuseppe’s for helping us express our condolences from far away.
