I recommend the Ellenburgh location. The food at this location was very disappointing and not very good.

Not true Southern BBQ as we all want and would like to have in town, but its triple the place "Dickies" was. Like other reviewers, I was very disappointed to find pre packaged stuff, what a mistake Jen! I also, like others, got the impression the meat is not smoked but baked. I have watched enough "Kitchen Nightmares" to know its never good to see servings in plastic wrap and a good indication its not fresh. This is why it taste the way to does. this COULD BE so successful, no one else in town is doing this and people crave this stuff. I am afraid the owner has lost the passion and is now satisfied with just keeping the doors open. There is so much room for improvement.

Okay quick stop for lunch. Brisket was a bit lack-luster but some of the best fries I have had in quite a while. Nice choice of sweet, spicy, and original sauces. Good alternative to all of the big chain fast food in the area.

We went today there were 3 workers there all of which were working on one to go order. We could not even put in an order. We eventually walked out. Ridiculous that not one of them was waiting on people in front of them.

I'm a big BBQ fan, my family an I enjoy smoking at home with different types of woodfired or pellet grills and love brisket. I've also tried various BBQ restaurants around Canada and the USA and have come to have a certain expection with smoked meats. When I heard about this place opening up I was excited to support a local business but the food and experience fell kind of short. We came on Saturday November 25, 2023 around noon and ordered a brisket sandwich, a pound of sliced brisket meat by itself as well as mac and cheese for a side. The meat was bland, it was dry and completely brown - it didn't have a pink smoke ring or any bark to it, no seasoning or crispy bits on the outside. I had the impression the brisket was cooked in a regular oven and not a smoker since there was no smoke flavor to it.The sandwich doesn't come with anything, it's just plain meat slices slapped in between two slices of soft bread, not toasted or buttered or anything. You are to add your own sauce otherwise it's extremely boring. I asked to have onions added to it, I definitely think having other condiments, pickles, cheese or or a slaw would have elevated the experience. There were none of these offered on the menu. The mac and cheese is prepackaged which turned me off. After I ordered, I saw the employees behind the counter empty a plastic bag of it into a bin, which wasn't appetizing. Had I known this was not made from scratch, I wouldn't have chosen it.I think the overall vibe of the place is kind of depressing - there are no signs visible to the outside so unless you can read or walk straight infront of the window, you'd never see this joint. The inside is just bare bones and certainly doesn't have any fun atmosphere or vibe. This is a very casual lunch spot or take out option, I wouldn't recommend this as a place to sit down and hang out with family. There was just something lacking. Now what I did enjoy was the price point, portion and variety - there are many other items on the menu like ribs, sausage, turkey, burgers, salads and poutine. The other items might be very tasty, perhaps I just got a lousy serving of brisket that day but I'm not sure I'd be back if the rest of the food isn't fresh or made from scratch.

Food was ok. Sides were ok. None of it was worth a 2nd visit. It’s decent BBQ.

We were sightseeing in the Adirondacks region and happened to stop by Plattsburgh Sourdough Company Bakery because we like good sourdough bread. After we asked about good BBQ in the area, Chris (Front Counter) HIGHLY recommended Jenn's. We're from Sam Antonio, Tx and have visited several of the TOP BBQ places in the state. We both agree that Jenn's is right up there with the best! We tried brisket, jalapeño-cheese sausage, pulled pork and ribs. For sides, we had macaroni salad, onion rings and potato salad. We tried the Regular and Spicy sauces. Everything was AWESOME! The brisket was probably a close FIRST PLACE with the rest in SECOND PLACE. ? All the sides were really good but the onion rings were outstanding. The Spicy Sauce was my favorite; wife preferred the Regular Sauce. The service was good and the restaurant is very clean (including the restrooms). We had the good fortune to meet THE PITMASTER, Jenn. She's one hard working (and personable) lady that strives to serve the best food possible. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jenn's if you're up for good BBQ in the Plattsburgh area. We wish Jenn the best of success! ??? ?

Brisket was stringy. Beans tasted like they were straight out of a can. BBQ sauce was watery.

For a beef brisket sandwich (brisket) and the burger with beef brisket (blazin brisket burger). The coleslaw is average, but I like the more vinegary Moishes. I would have liked a horseradish sauce with the brisket (horse radish sauce). Invisible from the road, no illuminated sign except a small OPEN with 2 posters in the window. Located across the street from the Target-Dick's-Jc Penney shopping center. I was looking for a brisket sandwich on the internet in Plattsburg, it's worth the trip. It's good. Parking opposite the restaurant, perfect for motorcycles to watch.
