Mainely Lobster & Seafood

We drove 2.5 hours up along Lake Champlain to get there yesterday. It was SOOOOO worth the trip for All U Can Eat Haddock. First piece must have been close to 1 pound and cooked perfectly. Will be back up again as the menu had so many things I wanted to try! Wish I knew about this years ago. Staff was very friendly and service was exceptional!! Heard so many other customers ordering the Twin Lobster Special. WELL DONE.

This place is an absolute gem. To be able to go to a legit lobster and seafood joint in upstate NY is such a blessing. Everything they have is good. The seafood chowder, lobster rolls, and fried whole belly clams aren’t to be missed. Prices are very reasonable too.

I’m glad we decided to stop in. Roll and butter and nice glasses of water were kept full. We enjoyed all you can eat haddock and baked seafood casserole. Food was hot, tasty, and you can tell it’s a mom and pop place. I was happy to support this excellent establishment. Service was polite and I look forward to my next visit to Plattsburgh!

I wasn’t impressed with either the seafood chowder or the Haddock fish n chips. Seafood chowder was watery and had very little flavor. Took 2 spoonfuls and pushed it aside. It was however filled with seafood. I love a good fish n chips but what I was served was equally as bad as the chowder. The fish had a very light coating of batter which was tasteless soggy and mostly fell off. Fish and chips should have a thick but light batter and crunch when you sink your teeth into it. The haddock was of good quality no complaints there. The french fries were terrible… soggy. No excuse for serving soggy french fries. I don’t know if the kitchen had an off day but… yeah not going back to find out. On a side note The Naked Turtle has really great fish n chips.

We arrived 30 minutes prior to closing when we were visiting the area for a LAX tournament. The entire waitstaff was so welcoming and friendly! They didn't rush us even though we arrived so close to closing. The food was amazing! They travel to Maine twice a week for seafood. The clam chowder was better than my favorite Maine restaurants. Laid back relaxing restaurant with an incredible, attentive staff. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely visit again if in the area.

Great place for a lobster. Nothing fancy, come as you ate. Wonderful meals and super nice staff. Been 3 times in a yr.
