It's hard to screw up a breakfast meal, but this place can do it. Eggs cold, pancake & home fries under cooked. Couldn't eat much but.thank gosh we got to a bathroom quickly. Once the stomach ache passed i felt fine.. The slow service, well, better than the "food".

Have eaten here multiple times and never have had a complaint. Very friendly owner and staff. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing as well as cinnamon buns!
Good came out cold then when we said we didn’t want it microwaved we got an attitude. Soup came out with the meals instead of before. Very rude owner and staff
Good Philly cheese steak. Quick service.

The waitress greeted us quickly and brought us coffee, but then disappeared and had to be called back to the table. No big deal.
I pointedly and specifically asked the waitress if they had gluten-free bread products. She said yes, they have gluten-free toast. So I ordered the Philly cheese breakfast sandwich. Someone else brought it to the table on what was clearly NOT gluten-free bread (if you're gluten-free, you can recognize gluten-free bread when you see it), so I asked if this was gluten-free bread, and the person said, "No, she didn't say it had to be." So it got sent back and when it came back 15 minutes later, there was no egg on it. So then I had to wait for them to fry two eggs to go with it. That took another 10 minutes. Of course my friend was done eating by the time I got this sandwich, which was nothing to write home about whatsoever. And not because of the bread. It was just bland.

Mel’s Diner is egg-cellent! ?? The scrambled eggs were so fluffy, I’m convinced they were whipped by angels. ? And the French toast? Absolutely toast-tastic! ? Crispy, golden, and perfect. But the real MVP was the waitress—super nice and made us feel like we were long-lost besties. ?♀️ If you're hungry and want some great vibes, scramble on over to Mel’s! You won’t be disappointed. ?✨

Had the corn beef omelette with side order of eggs and onions. And homemade toast. This is about the 10 time we have been to this place. It is great and it is part of our weekend rotation for breakfast.

Great food, fast service. The cinnamon buns are soooo good!!!!
Great relaxed retro vibe and very warm, friendly waitresses. Had the blueberry pancakes and sausage--delicious!! Lots of real blueberries--so tasty I didn't even need syrup or butter. (But they do have real maple syrup--essential if you want syrup!) My husband had the veggie omelet and raved about it. This is real good real diner food. Not fancy--just delicious.
I hesitate to mention the cinnamon buns because they only make a certain amount and often sell out, but they are by far the best I've ever had. I always get one, even if we're there for lunch (if any are left). They are to die for.
Mel's is just wonderful, and I plan to become a regular!
