Rambach's Bakery and Fudge

I have never had a bad product from here. not one. It's so darned good it is dangerous to the wallet! Their cheesecakes have been my staple birthday cake of choice since well before they relocated to South Peru street . The Australian tea cake is famous for a good reason . They have the best cakes, cookies , donuts and pastries and I can't imagine anything being less than spectacular . Rambachs is an absolute must if you like delicious baked treats.

I went to Rambach's for one thing, The Australian Teacake is legendary. It was perfect - sweet and moist. It's worth the trip.

Twas the Eve of Christmas, I rode to Rambach's in my motorized sleigh over the snow. The parking lot was covered in snow, but there was plenty...you know... The main door was opened by a patron so lively with a tied boxes that was ever so thick. I entered to meet with the smells of the bakery. The bakery is visible and you could see plenty of fresh delights being made. There were donuts, cookies, and cakes...You could pre-order quiches or tortiere...which was why I was there. I spied German Butter Stollen...At checkout it was proclaimed...Merry Christmas!! This bakery brings back so many memories...I will report back as my mom's birthday is a few days away and we will pick up a cake.

I came in for lunch and had a chicken salad sandwich that you could tell was made fresh that day with love. The Mac salad was excellent and the tomato bisque (soup of the day) hit the spot. Even got a deliciously moist cupcake for dessert. I just wish I worked closer so I could go for lunch everyday.

Smells amazing in this little shop! Wish they were open later on Saturdays, but I'll take what I can get. Their Australian Tea Cake is so good! Certainly a must try. Staff was very nice as well. Great experience visiting my first time! 🙂

Their Australian Tea Cakes are to die for!! It’s the main thing I get. Last time I got one that had maple icing and it was the best thing I’ve ever had. They also have French pastries and I believe they’re the only place that makes them around here now. You need to try one!

Oh my goodness, my husband and I are so happy we found this place! Literally everything we had from donuts to cupcakes was STELLAR! I own my own bakery and I am so impressed and can’t wait to come back and hopefully soon 🤞 also the staff is so friendly and welcoming ☺️
