I was in Plattsburgh for a night and was looking for somewhere great to try. After doing my own research and asking a few locals, Sip was highly recommended. I decided to stop in probably around 4:30/5ish pm on Saturday, 8/23. I did use the wrong door (oops) but the young woman who greeted me was kind and went to get the hostess. The hostess came over and told me to meet her upstairs but she didn’t lead the way so I walked and made my way up. I stood at the top of the stairs...
Food was mediocre, service was good however it definitely is not a place to go if you want to have a conversation with someone. It is extremely loud and the atmosphere is cold and sterile. Maybe a great place if you are a little tipsy and feel like screaming at your friends.
Nice open-air American spot in the middle of downtown Plattsburgh. Pesto Chicken Sammy had quality ingredients, and was good bang for your buck. Fresh interior design with high top tables, regular tables, and cool indented booth seats. Place was busy but not overcrowded. Service could have been a little quicker, but it made for a nice, relaxing pitstop. Sweet potato fries in the waffle shape were an unique addition, but they passed the test.
