The staff the food and everything about this place is great. I tried YAMA for the first time a few years ago and have not gone anywhere else for my Japanese cravings since . The food is always so fresh and the staff is always super friendly , they are also very accommodating! Love supporting this place

We were downtown Plattsburgh and decided to try this restaurant... so happy we did! We shared the chicken teriyaki and chicken hibachi plus the gyoza dumplings. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was so sweet! We will definitely be back!!

My boyfriend and I are very frequent flyers of Yama and often go on our anniversary or “date days” the staff is friendly and welcoming! The food is great and I’ve even recommended Yama to a lot of friends and family all of which have also fallen in love with Yama!

The food was amazing and the waitress was very sweet. She had good recommendations for those of us in our party who didn't know what things were or weren't familiar with ordering sushi. It was very reasonably priced as well. I'm so glad we stumbled across this place while visiting Plattsburgh! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
