Fantastic sushi. My husband and I are from California and spent time in Japan. The sushi here is excellent. The pieces are large and the fish is amazing - great prices too. Also a cute downtown to explore before or after dinner. Excellent evening and dinner was fantastic.

The food is always so fresh and the staff is always super friendly , they are also very accommodating! Love supporting this place

We were downtown Plattsburgh and decided to try this restaurant... so happy we did! We shared the chicken teriyaki and chicken hibachi plus the gyoza dumplings. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was so sweet! We will definitely be back!!
The waitress seemed a bit careless about her service etiquette. Food was excellent. No bathrooms. The music was a bit loud.

My boyfriend and I are very frequent flyers of Yama and often go on our anniversary or “date days” the staff is friendly and welcoming! The food is great and I’ve even recommended Yama to a lot of friends and family all of which have also fallen in love with Yama!
