Been here since I was a College student 20 years ago. Best Sandwich in town, dont bother anywhere else, you were warned lol. the Zukes special. Just writing about it makes me want one. Despite being obscenely busy, the staff are always smiles and nice. this is what having a tip cup does for staff attitude. take note lol.

After not being able to come here for a few months after find out about my gluten sensitivity, I was so happy to hear they added the gluten free sub rolls!! Always great quality & service. Everything always tastes fresh. One of my favorite places.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The subs are the best, not just for Plattsburgh. The service with the new owners is far superior to the previous. My husband and I patronize them at least once a week. The Zukes's Special is a classic favorite but you can also have a very hearty vegetarian sub, etc. Five stars!

Just recently moved here and heard this place was the go to for a sandwich. Went there last night and the sandwich was great. Fresh meat and the hoagie roll was soft and fresh.The staff is friendly and helpful..definitely going again. So many options

You like delicious sandwiches and service with a smile? Zukes is the place! It's located downtown and an easy walk in the neighborhood. Filled with local residents and college students come in and out. Everyone is ridiculously happy there and their roast beef, turkey, ham, bologne, swiss, American, cheddar cheeses are incredible! You can customize your sandwiches and get it toasted- every sub comes with free chips from the chip stand! They have a million types- popcorn, Fritos, Doritos, puffs, sun chips- you name it they have it! We love supporting our favorite local businesses in town and they deserve it too! They have limited hours so just check when they are open especially during the holiday season. Zukes is a healthy option for your sandwich needs!

Stopped here on our way up to Montreal. Had no idea what we were in store for and we were more than pleasantly surprised.We split the Zuke's Special and potato salad. The portions were just right for us. Perfect balance of meat, toppings, sauce and bread.I love deli sandwiches but can't deny how salty they can be and this sandwich did not seem overly salty at all.The only surprise was that we didn't realize it was a warm sandwich but it was a nice surprise.The staff was helpful and really nice to us and very helpful. I'm sure we weren't the first ones just passing through and being a college town probably also helps.Check it out, even if you have to drive a bit to get there. It's worth it. PSAs - it is a corner store with a deli, not a restaurant, so not public restrooms. Street parking and directly in front is 10 minutes only so pre-ordering may be helpful for those passing through.
