Only go here if you want reliable food, excellent cocktails and service that's friendly and professional. Kurt sets the tone for an exceptionally enjoyable evening. We drive past a lot of other restaurants, from our home in southern Westchester, and it's always worth the drive.

Food was excellent. Comfort. Would have liked more veggies! We didn’t plan ahead, but next time we will request to sit in one of the window tables. A bit hidden from the main drag, but still very close.

Salad was perfectly made and the affogato was to die for. Definitely worth the stop in! Attention to detail in food preparation was so high.

Came in with 4 friends on a Tuesday because we were recommended the $25 burger special, burger and food were great, our server was great very attentive and personable. Only problem was with the check, we ordered 3 burgers and three beers and as per the deal each pair was $25. None had the deal applied, and after getting a new check manager refused to remove all three of the beers, only removing two then arguing over keeping the third on. Told me I misunderstood the promotion even tho the menu clear as day says Tavern burger and beer for $25. Not to stray anyone away but be weary of management. I work in hospitality myself and I think there’s a lot to take away from guest interaction in this situation.

This was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I booked a party at this venue four months in advance and was told at the time of booking that no other events were scheduled and all reservation slots were open. I received a confirmation and proceeded to plan my event, including sending out invitations.

Just 2 weeks before the event, I received a call confirming my reservation — only to then receive an email the very next day stating that a full restaurant buyout had been scheduled that would now interfere with my party. This is completely unacceptable.

Changing or canceling a confirmed reservation on such short notice shows a serious lack of professionalism and regard for your customers. This last-minute notice, delivered casually via email, has caused major disruption and stress. I would not recommend relying on this venue for any event planning, as they clearly do not honor their commitments.

As a frequent diner of Freddy's we knew exactly who to call when we needed a caterer for our son's baptism at our home. Matt and his team came and set up the Patty Wagon as well as hot and cold food options for our guests. We got so many compliments on the food! Everything was fresh, delicious and hot! I would highly recommend Freddys as both a dine in and at home catering option. You will not be disappointed!

Oh yes! Great experience at Freddy's, highlighted by an outstanding burger with bacon jam. Also enjoyed a fish special and the house salad. Friendly, welcoming staff in a pleasant environment. Highly recommend.

Another fantastic visit to Freddy’s. The food and service are consistently top-notch, with every dish bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The real star, though, is the bartender—Kurt crafts incredible cocktails with a welcoming vibe that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

I recently saw a short on Instagram about their Tavern Burger w/ Bacon Jam. I ordered one to go this evening and it did not excite me. The burger was overcooked (supposed to be medium rare but was more like medium well with no juices) and the meat lacked flavor. The bacon jam was delicious, but that was it. Granted, I did get it to go, so I need to give them some leeway for that, but overall I was super disappointed. Especially since it’s a $25 burger. I’ll give it another try, but dine in only.

This was a proper dud. We came after seeing a number of posts on social media about Freddy's and were properly disappointed. Service was fine, but the food was a real letdown. The lag between finishing our appetizers and receiving our main courses was close to 35 minutes. When dinner did arrive, fries were cold and soggy for half of our party, the lasagna special arrived just warmer than room temp, and the 'nice salad' was slightly more exciting than just a bag of shredded iceberg. The manager was nice enough to comp our drinks after sending a new plate of fries and a hot lasagna. Your results may vary, but this is a 1 and done restaurant for us.

The cocktail was too sweet to enjoy. The short rib was cooked well, however the sauce was so salty, it was at times unbearable. Combined with already salty gruyere cheese on potatoes, it was hard to eat. Short bread and key lime pie desserts were just not good.

We recently dined at Freddy's in Pleasantville with high expectations due to the average review rating of 4.7/5. The food was mediocre at best. Tuna tartare lacked flavor and crunch. Pigs in the blanket arrived room temperature and the dough soft and undercooked. Almost as if they were microwaved, left to cool and sent to our table. Buffalo wings were meaty and the best of the three apps, but sauce was minimal and lacking buffalo punch. I ordered the strip steak rare, which arrived medium rare. In addition, It appeared less than the advertised 16oz size. I asked if I could sub out the mashed potatoes for the au gratin. The waitress obliged but later found an extra $5 fee on the bill. I don't mind paying a little extra for the substitution, but the lack of communication left a bad taste in my mouth. NPI. My wife and son ordered the burger. The bun seemed to be a day old and reheated. The meat, bland. Their burgers are advertised as the "best in westchester", but certainly did not live up. My friends had the short rib and salmon dishes. Both portions were inadequate. On a positive note, the house made cocktails were tasty. As was the caramel brownie desert. Service was not over the top, but good nonetheless. Overall, we wish we had a better experience, and would love to recommend, but numerous reasons would prohibit us from doing so. Best of luck moving forward.
