Vela Kitchen is our favorite local restaurant. They consistently provide excellent service and excellent food in a very welcoming space. We love the menu and we've enjoyed every selection, whether it's a starter, a salad, a main course or the wine selection. And we highly recommend their signature dessert - ricotta kisses!

Initially I wasn't happy because the table where they sat us was right next to the kitchen and the silverware area and the waitstaff was constantly walking behind me and bumped into me by accident a couple of times. I asked to change tables and it looked as if it wasn't going to happen, but then a reservation was cancelled and they sat us at a better table. After that, it was fine.
