The food was great. We enjoyed every dish, from the items on the regular menu to the items we ordered off the specials. However, service was exceptionally slow, especially considering that the restaurant was rather empty.
Vela Kitchen is our favorite local restaurant. They consistently provide excellent service and excellent food in a very welcoming space. We love the menu and we've enjoyed every selection, whether it's a starter, a salad, a main course or the wine selection. And we highly recommend their signature dessert - ricotta kisses!
Vela never disappoints. There is often something new to try, but the standards are still excellent. The service is terrific, and the price is quite reasonable for Northern Westchester.
