20 minute wait for drinks. Received menus, another 20 minutes, patron flow lightened & priority was to fill ketchup bottles. Beyond disappointing, as I’ve only been one time prior, I was excited to introduce my husband to the good food. Drove almost an hour, only to walk away without even an acknowledgment that we’d waited 40 minutes.

We popped in this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday just while driving in the area. My kids loved the fish on the walls and the cool bar taps displayed. We ordered some burgers, chicken tenders and the alamo poutine. That poutine is all I can think about, planning a trip back. Staff was friendly, food was amazing and facilities were clean. 10/10!

Visited Friday 5/16/25 a party of 10 of us, we actually sat at the same table that we had a year ago, as we are in the area at a local campground and always elect to go to dinner one night! The bartender Austin greeted us and sat us and then promptly took our order! The food came out of the kitchen with assistance from other employees, and Austin to all 10 of us at the same time!, the food was hot and plentiful! We mostly all went home with doggie bags and full bellies! Austin was the man!, if I had any one thing to mark against them they wouldn’t do separate checks! We figured it out back at the campground who had what and who owed what but it would have been nice if we could have all paid separately (5 checks). Other than that Austin was the super star of the night! Thanks again Alamo for a great dinner!
