“Loved what they have done with the interior. It’s bright and welcoming. I also liked how roomy it is. Most diners are small which felt like you were sitting on top of each other. The staff were welcoming. Our server was amazing. His name was Josh, he greeted us with a smile. Our coffee was never empty and always hot. Food came out fairly fast and it the portion size were huge. Josh came to our table to check on us. He chatted with us, he was very friendly. The food was hot and was cooked the way it should be. My overall experience was astonishing. I recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.”

“I disagree 100 percent that the riggies here taste better than Utica. They simply don’t. The portion size was great, but the chicken was so cut way too small. The sauce just didn’t hit my taste buds the same. The cheese and seasoning on the saucer for bread is just odd. Not bad, just odd. My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.”

“This is my second time coming to Craftsman and I can’t wait for number three. Last time I was with my father who doesn’t drink but we came in on a whim and sat at the bar for dinner. We had burgers, they were good, and I was very happy with the draft beer selection. Now I’m back, staying at the Craftsman Inn next door again but with a new group. Myself, my wife, my 2 year old, and 2 month old came in for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated a few minutes earlier than our reservation and immediately greeted by our server. We fired a kids pizza for my big guy and it was out within 5 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so nice and helpful, they gave my big guy crayons which was a huge hit. The wife had the salmon, I ordered the steak flight, we shared a hot honey and pepperoni pizza while waiting for our main course. We’re from Long Island, we eat a lot of pizza, this thing was top notch. Main courses came, we were both extremely happy with our choices. The steak flight comes with 2 sides and I chose Brussel sprouts and the fingerling potatoes. The sprouts were unreal, the potatoes were good but I’d probably select something else next time. No complaints, just a preference. Drinks were and always are top notch, very happy!!!! Just wish it wasn’t 5 hours from home.”

“The highlight of our wedding three months ago was the Gannon’s Homemade Ice Cream cart—I’m craving another scoop of the Cookie Smash (that is gluten free) right now! Working with Jules was easy and she was very responsive. We had a blast sampling ice cream flavors at their location on Valley Drive. The staff was great and let us try so many flavors to help us settle on the six we picked for our wedding. The young man who worked at our wedding was very kind and polite. Did a great job setting up the ice cream cart and topping station during the dinner portion of our reception. Looking at the photos, I think he had a great time. He also let us put on some gloves to scoop our first ice cream Sundays as husband and wife.
