“Great local ice cream shop. Open daily from 3-9PM for the 2025 season. Black raspberry vanilla twist is particularly good. They serve Perry’s for hard ice cream. 4-5 picnic tables and a couple gazebos for ample seating room.”

“Syracuse halal gyros food is 100/10… huge portions, reasonable prices, and absolutely delicious. They are open late which is great because there aren’t many options open late these days. When we picked up our order the gentleman behind the counter offered us a huge “sample” of chicken and rice so we could try their (new?) green sauce which was also delicious. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone.”

“The absolute BEST Indian restaurant in Central NY. They go above & beyond for all of their customers. The food is ALWAYS top notch every time I have come here. You never have to ask for a refill on drinks or anything, they are on top of it! You really feel like family here because even after your first visit they actually remember you! The vibe brings you to a peaceful space where you don’t even feel like you’re in Syracuse anymore! 10/10 ⭐️”

“Delicious food, excellent service and very clean attractive surroundings. Had a western omelette with home friends and wheat toast, and a blueberry pancake on the side. The toast was unusually good, the omelette was very well made, packed with fillings cooked very well. The pancake was the only issue. The middle of it was raw but the edges were delicious. I decided not to say anything because there was no way I could eat everything anyway. What I was able to eat is the pancake was delicious. When the waitress cleared she noticed the raw pancake and took it off the bill without even telling me. Really great food and service for a totally fair price. I will definitely be back.”

“We love to visit Onco on Sundays for their Blues music commitment. Erin and Brian are the owners and the chefs in the back fixing all their delicious cold-fermented pizzas and other items - wings - sliders - giant pretzel. Their beers are tasty as well. I really enjoy their Irish Stout - Black Knight. I really like their Oktoberfest beer as well. The IPA Liquid STAMINA is right up my alley - good Australian hops flavor without a high ABV. Not sure how Brian does that but it’s tasty. The staff is great too- Nicole, Emily, Jade and Rich are always smiling and eager to help. When you want a nice time, great atmosphere and just a fun place head on over to Onco. You’ll be glad you did!
Oh, the pizza and slider selection changes weekly. There are some staple pizzas that are always there and there are non-tomato based options, for those of us who cannot have tomatoes! Check out their website for selections! Last weekend we picked the Fig jam based pizza with a hint of Gorgonzola and bacon and fresh mozzarella with a balsamic glaze - Delicious!!!!”

“This little bakery in Jamesville, NY has the best halfmoons, strawberry whip cream cakes and pastries ever. We order a box of half-moons whenever we go out to town to visit family. If you need a special order, the owner Francis takes your order, he is fabulous and very accommodating. They definitely deserve a 10 out of 10. Thank you, Pastry Palace Bakery.”

“Hidden Gem! I'm really not one to ever bother leaving reviews like this, but this place has made a very big impression on me where I can't say enough good about them. My favorite thing on their menu is the Chicken Riggie's and I mean it when I tell you that they are hands down THE BEST chicken or sausage Riggie's I have ever had anywhere. It's a very generous portion for only $12 buck's. I'm a big guy and I can't even finish the portion that they give me in one sitting.. Everything I've tried on their menu is awesome! I've actually considered not even grocery shopping anymore and just eating there on a daily basis. A very close family friend of mine introduced this place to me over the summer and I've been hooked ever since. She goes to this place literally almost every day for lunch and gets the Margarita Panini sandwich. I just highly recommend this place Ive already brought many diff friends of mine and my dad as well to go there and made sure they all tried the chicken Riggie's and they all agree with me that they are incredible! The owner and his wife are very friendly, down to earth, just great people, they've done such a great job with the place and I believe anybody that goes there will agree that its the cat's pajama's!”

“I disagree 100 percent that the riggies here taste better than Utica. They simply don’t. The portion size was great, but the chicken was so cut way too small. The sauce just didn’t hit my taste buds the same. The cheese and seasoning on the saucer for bread is just odd. Not bad, just odd. My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.”
