The food was amazing! What a surprise in Port Chester! The service, especially Ryan, and the authentic ambience, were wonderful. The short rib tangine was fantastic! The fromage cigars.... Wow! We had the best time! Thank you!
Came for the Merguez. Left fully impressed with the flavors, decor, price point and the customer service.
Argana is truly a Wonderful restaurant, One of the best I've been to in Fairfield County, And honestly, the best in Port Chester. It is run by a family where the third generation tends the front of the house, the second generation, mom, cooks her own mother's recipes. The food is very well seasoned and generous With lovely presentation. The atmosphere is lovely, especially outside under the Morrocan tent. Service was good, Comfortably paced and relaxed, Friendly, but not over friendly. Don't miss the short ribs as they are so very good. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, and the homemade lamb sausage was really good. We especially liked the fig and goat cheese salad. Argana Has earned a place on our very very short list. Do try it!
This is a family owned restaurant with family members present serving their guests. It's very sophisticated and well located. The food was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.
What a great treat for Mother's Day to enjoy the weather and food at this restaurant. We sat in the tented area, which makes you feel like you're in Morocco. While it's a bit expensive, it was a special occasion, and everyone (even picky kids) enjoyed it!
Service was fine, tried sitting in tent area and too difficult to maneuver around table legs. Food was fine, if a bit bland. Cooked well, but not enough flavor. Place was completely empty at 6 PM on a Saturday - weird. Portions were... fine, but choice of sides/accompanying items on the plate were strange. Lamb shank had what I think was either an orange slice or apricot - either way it contrasted poorly with the savory flavor of the lamb. A peculiar mix of green beans and peas accompanied it along with a giant hunk of okra placed on the plate. Similarly, my mother's dish was branzino (without the skin removed) over a bed of mostly uncooked spinach. Again, weird. Prosecco was way too sweet/too young to drink, but that's subjective. Overall, food was fine, just don't really have a reason to return there as it was largely unremarkable.
My family and I enjoyed our first dining experience at Argana. Everything was wonderful; the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return.
This is the second year I've chosen to have my birthday dinner here. The food, decor, and service are all great!
What a wonderful surprise to see this homestyle beautiful authentic restaurant in our county! I haven't seen any restaurants like this before that are not in New York City. The waiters were so fun and professional and lovely and catered to our family. We will definitely be back oh, and the food was amazing.
While service was great, food lacked. Savory was flavorful, but not enough for the price point. Dessert was actually pretty depressing.

Delicious meal. Shared appetizers were tasty and ample for the three of us. I had lamb shank, which was tender and served in a delicious mild sauce. The two fish dishes, cod and branzino, were big hits. Baklava for dessert. The room is lovely, and was very quiet. Service was perfect and friendly. We will certainly return.
Food was mediocre at best. Fish was “fishy”, I suspect not very fresh. Lamb shank under seasoned. Service pretty good, not great. Physical setting is comfortable. Portions just ok. Unlikely to return.
I'm not sure what the criteria is for getting a Michellin Star, but this restaurant deserves as many as possible. The food is consistently delicious, imaginative, and artfully prepared. On top of that, the fromt of the house makes you feel like family. If you haven't eaten at Argana yet, then hurry up and get there. You won't be disappointed.
First, very comfortable restaurant, and the food and service were amazing. I will be returning the next time.
I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day and they did not disappoint! We loved everything from the ambiance, service, music, to the food and drinks. Everything was so flavorful and the staff were kind and attentive. It's a must try when you are in the NY area!!!
